You're right RVP isn't a Thierry Henry but what they both share is the ability to score goals - a lot of goals - without being what people would class as natural goalscorers. Name one 'goal poacher' in the Premier League who is currently outscoring Robin Van Persie. That's right there's none. And on top of that he can do the link up play too.

We don't need a goal poacher at all. All we really need is some of our other players to chip in with a few more goals.

Look RVP will be 30 in 2 years time I can't see RVP playing well into his 30s plus he's not fit enough (Injury record) if we sign him up Wenger will not a buy a top striker he wil buy backup strikers.
