The Great Britain thing is true, but I haven't done it.
And it's not complicated is it? I've found it much like the last ones with just a few more options and updated player lists, exactly what I wanted
I haven't found it any more complicated than the previous games.
You can delve further into the tactical side of the game with a 'set-piece creator', but that's optional.
Other than that, it's pretty much the same game with a few slight adjustments.
And yes, you can manage UK in the Olympics
It seems just the same as usual to me - marginally upgraded from last year's version and incredibly addictive
The main changes are only useful for new players, really, although not being able to go on holiday on a matchday (and therefore if you're 5-0 down after 30 minutes avoid the rest of the pain) is very irritating.
i haven't found it as addicted as previous versions....
but thats just me, others love it
I suppose going on holiday during a match would be slightly unrealistic, can you imagine Wenger jetting off to the Bahamas when arsenal are getting beat 4-0?
Bring back Champ Man 2001/2002 style only with 2012 teams
It was the most perfect footballing Manager sim ever why did they try and change it, it was the pinnacle!

Yes, very true I also don't like the fact that you get less respect for 'Going on Holiday'; personally, I enjoy setting up the tactics and signing players, and am more than content missing the occasional home game against lower opposition - it's just frustrating that it seems to impact your ability to win Manager of the Month etc - a small complaint, I know.
Also, I don't like how you have to agree a contract in that meeting with the agent; I like the idea of negotiation, but it annoyed me when Robben refused to talk to me because I had 'only' offered him £130,000 per week, only for him to sign for another club for less than £90,000 a week a few weeks later after no-one else had offered for him.
If I had been able to keep the offer open and let him compare it with other potential offers before he made his decision, it would have been more realistic and rational I feel.
You forgot to use I will suck yer boaby option DaStuDog, Its anew option I dont like but it seems to work especially with Tevez
It's better than last year's one and it is not complicated in the slightest. And there are a few new additions that I really like. The best one has to be that you are able to add and remove leagues even after a game has started. I haven't done it yet but I usually download fanmade leagues of countries not included in the game (mostly African/Asian/South American leagues) and it ends up being a pain because I have to start all over again to add the leagues to the game but NOT THIS TIME
batmanu, where do you download the fanmade leagues?
www.fm-base.co.uk is a great site for little add-ons and editors if you feel the need to make your own little tweaks to players' abilities, or even just check out if the player your scout rates is actually any good
KPPR I haven't looked for them, I looked for them when I downloaded the game about 2 months ago but there was none out, haven't looked since, but I will have a look now and if I find any I will let you know. I downloaded about 70 of them for the last game, there was a chap that used to make them and they were brilliant but I can't even find his old work anymore
i love it, got asked to manage team gb, won the gold won every game up to the final by atleast 3, then went 2-0 down at half to spain, but went on to win
What players do you get for the GB team is it all just welsh players?
its a good.game not. complicated at ll,i particually like the new contract system of locking out certain parts of the contract
It is a good game but I agree with whoever above stated it is not as addictive as some of the previous versions.
It's a great game. I have bought previous Football Manager games but never really got into them but this one is a different story - it's amazing and scarily addictive.
