It is simple, in Terry's case a compllaint was made to the police, in the case of Saurez there was no complaint made to the police.

Noting odd about it at all, if a member of the public makes a complaint the police have to get involved. If no complaint they will not and the FA will deal with it. Once the Police have finished with the case the FA will deal with it as they see fit. Any call the FA make before it is dealt with legally could be seen as perverting the cause of justice.

So if one f us complained about suarez to the police...the cps would be on the case.

If Suarez gets a big ban i don't expect the darling of the FA John (I have more bookings for a foul mouth and abuse than any other player in the league this season) Terry to get anything but a slap on the wrist.

Nothing odd, the person in the crowd or on TV saw or heard what JT said, the context in how it was said is currently the only debate.

The situation with Evra is different, nobody in the crowd saw or heard it and as such we don't really know what was said or in what context so the FA deal with it. If Evra wanted to he could have made a complaint to the rozzers and they are duty bound to follow it up.

Suarez is undoubtedly the most obnoxious player in the PL and the most despised by opposition players and fans
