Nice try SARS. Bit of English Bias but nice try, it's your opinion and I (unlike one notable blogger) will respect it.
Here's what I think
P1 - Munster on 24 pts
P2 - Cardiff Blues on 21 pts
P3 - Leinster on 25 pts
P4 - Clermont on 20 pts
P5 - Saracens on 23 pts
P6 - Toulouse on 23 pts
2 best runners up will be
Biarritz on 21 pts
Quins on 20 pts
Leinster vs Quins
Munster v Biarritz
Toulouse v Clermont
Saracens v Blues
3 home wins and Blues to win away from home
very close to what you would expect except Toulouse lose at Gloucester..... not a chance of that happening. no even a glimmer. Quins win was great last weekend but it changed noting in that pool. Toulouse are still in first place in pool 6 and will not get beat by Gloucester or Connacht.
Other then that i think you could be spot on.
I don't think you can expect a Leicester win away at Ulster...
Gotta confess a bit of a soft spot for Gloucester, I used to live not far away so I think a bit of "mental bias" is probably right there.
Though a cold winters day at Kingsholm will be something of a test for the chaps from the Stade Ernest Wallon!
How do you guys see Ulster - Leicester panning out - that seems the most exciting of the Round 5 matches
Also, I thought Biarritz were going through a bit of a rough spell recently - they're rooted to the bottom of the table in France
I think Ulster will have to much for Leicester at Ravenhill. It's a bit of a fortress up there and they did make the QF's last year. I think that result should give Clermont the group.
Yeah Biarritz are a funny one. Ospreys at home which I think they should win. I thought Treviso away would be an easy win but I'm not so sure, on reflection I think they could lose that game.
I agree about Ravenhill - even the name suggests big dark crows pecking over bodies - certainly if it were Toulon I would wholly favour Ulster. It should be a really good game, and I doubt there'll be much to seperate the two - which I guess is how it should be. The idea of a Munster - Leicester quarter final would be something to behold too - though there's plenty yet to happen!
Fair to say that in general winning away in the HC is very difficult. I suppose thats what separates the good teams from the best teams. Tho the HC has a fantastic habit of being a little unpredictable. Ulster have been going in fits and starts this year. they don't quite have the consistency of last year and the Pro12 is not going to well for them either. But totally agree with both, Raven Hill is a difficult place to get an away win so the Tigers will have it all to do. That should be a cracking game to be fair.
