Everton 0-2 The better team (Carroll, and oh yeah, Suarez)

2 fa stooges and a man who claimed in his autobiography he held fergie keep his job.... some independent body that is.

face it, it had nothing to do with the individual case and everything to do with the fa's percieved stance on racism (and to stick one to blatter).

I am asking the question due to the John Terry situation. If Terry gets found guilty by the Courts then surely the FA would have to review the case and give its judgement and punishment.

I believe this should be the same situation when a player has been found guilty of racism by the FA

United Mafia and complete Kangaroo court.

Will be appealed and I hope LFC take it all the way

Evra insults Suarez in Spanish, Suarez responds with a Spanish word but tried & convicted based on its interpretation in the English language?

As the LFC statement said, at what point now will Evra be charged?

I would love the CPS to look at the case. They would prove there is no evidence

It's a pity Suarez couldn't.He and Liverpool wouldn't be in this mess now

There is no way in which Suarez would be convicted in a court of law...

Probably would not stand up in court. The evidence is not overwhelming.

Bring it on!!!

The biased opinion of a mickey mouse panel would be ripped to bits in a court of law.

I wish they would OP! I would love it. Then we'd see the need for real evidence and the FA would be shown up, as the two-faced hypocrites that they are.

I wonder what all your opinions of the FA would have been if Suarez was deemed innocent.

The reason why racism still exists in our society is because the likes of you defend and condone it

These are very frustrating times for all Reds. Our star player has been convicted of an offence, we have yet to see the evidence, many of us support him in the meantime, but in the same meantime we are castigated and branded as being racist ourselves, in many cases by pond life who haven't quite got a grasp of reality. Shining through this mess is our club whose statement lays our our fears and beliefs, not in any emotive way, and asks searching questions of that epitome of rectitude, better known as the FA. Let the dust settle - Luis must be supported in his appeal against conviction and sentence - and in the meantime, difficult though it is, kindly ignore other comments. YNWA Luis, JImmyTheRed

My opinion would have been the same as it is now. Until I see the evidence, Suarez is innocent.

Racism exists in our society because there are still some people who are racist, not because people trust that one person is not, as there has been no evidence to suggest otherwise.

That wouldn't fit your agenda though - would it?

I base my opinions on evidence. Why is that such a controversial concept?

Please explain why my condemning those who are ok with rolemodels using racist remarks a moron.

I think all those who are supporting Suarez despite him being found guilty are below contempt.

You all defended him saying 'wait till the verdict'.We waited till the verdict and now you still defend him

" Shining through this mess is our club whose statement...."

Your clubs statement was in my opinon very ill-considered, making accusations when they have not even seen the reasons.

Much like the Spearing red, LFC made big noises about it being unfair and then did not appeal.

IMO your club should have expressed disappointment, reserved their position until they had seen the reasons, but in the meantime remain to stand by their player who has maintained his innocence throughout!

Devonshirespur - I'm pretty sure that LFC have seen more of the evidence than you have and are in a better position than you to make a judgement.

posted on 21/12/11

Devonshirespur, thank you for your observations, needless to say, I disagree. I like many other Reds, am astounded by the manner in which LFC have come out backing our star player. ('twixt thee and me, I didn't think they had the bottle!!) The FA must now release the evidence which supports both the finding and punishment meted out. I wish them well. Somehow, I think they'll need it, quite a bit of it in fact. JimmyTheRed
