RRP,
I'm kind of the same. I used to myself about £20 a month to play with, but i normally do quite well. If you bet on an obvious result, ie. Man Utd, City, Chelsea or (dare i say it) Arsenal to win against a lesser side (like the Villa example i used), you will get back 50% of your stake with the winnings. Then, you have another £25 to play with.
I bet a little bit like the "Dead cert man" but just not all of my winnings. I'm one of the very few people i know (all my mates bet) who is actually up on their betting. As i say, i have £50 on Arsenal tonight - really cant see them dropping points.
Its all a gamble but its a technique that is paying off at the moment.
And if Arsenal do drop point, hey so what? thats my betting done with this month & i'll start again next month.
Vicious - Oh no, SKYBET is the way to go (The amount i bang on about them i think people think i work for them )! I used to have a Coral account and a PartyPoker account as well
If i went to the bookies i would need to show some ID, i dont fancy being embarrassed
Chicken - Ah i see! You actually have a technique to your madness! Im one of those gamblers who will always back an unlikely result, rarely comes in but the odds are massive if they do. I usually stick £5 on a Wigan win, just because the bookies NEVER fancy them whereas i always do
I can actually check if im up or not right now, but im a tad scared of what it will say
But i could never lump £50 on a single game, would be too stressful for me

See what i mean, they're 1-0 up already.
Jeez, I hope RRP doesn't rub it in that he was right about QPR and Newcastle winning
... Oh wait
I forgot to go to the bookies in the end but all my Prem results were right, lets hope someone fúcks it up for me.
Daveunited,
I won my Arsenal bet. I also had a tenner on Man Utd but i lost money i had on Liverpool to win.
All in all, i'm roughly about £72.78 in profit.
I'm always the only one in there not wearing a tracksuit.
