About right i guess. But this wouldnt normally be a problem, however because we have missed a shed load of chances and pens in other games the 2 poor performances stand out, after all 2 poor games in 17 aint that bad..is it?
You've got to say we've had three poor performances.

But tonight was awful, I read someone comment "When our two full-backs are most dangerous going forward we have a problem" & tbh it's true - we only looked dangerous with Jose or Jonno running with the ball, don't think we'd of scored if we'd played all night.
The lack of creativity in the middle is awful - Maxi needs long time out after this shocker, Downing was WACK (doesn't play wide enough for me) Henderson holds back too much and needs to use his energy to be a 'box-to-box' midfielder - all this with Kuyt who has only been known for energy is not good and no wonder people are saying Suarez looked off, when he picked off a genius ball or dummy it'd get ruined or not capatalised on.
It kills me to say it but I think we still need strengthening in a fair few areas - 3 priorities: Fast winger, 'David Silva' creator and goalscorer.

Anyway all we can do it look to Blackburn and stay behind Luis - YNWA!

Neo, I thought we created more against swansea. The second half in this game was poor imo.
We have done enough to win both games, but tonight we looked a bit jaded I though. As i said the movement and tempo were lacking in the second half. this second half lull was something that was common in the early part of the season too.
7 points out of 9 isn't bad , but we need to start taking our chances which we just didn't create in the second half.
4 out of 5 penalties missed makes me want to cry.
I was in the Albion end where Charlie Adam scored his penalty - nearly got up and cheered in disbelief! - didn't know I'd witnessed a collectors items!

It makes sense. And yes it's true. We desperately need a Hernandez like striker in January. None of the clowns on the pitch know how to put the ball in the net.

Watched the game. Think your teams mind was somewhere else to be honest with Suarez and the 8 game ban.. Hope ours is not somewhere else too tomorrow otherwise we're in for a long night. Downing is poor. Suarez is like in the Rooney mould. Comes deep too often. Either sign a goal poacher or sign better midfielders to start supplying Suarez so he stops dropping deep

last but not least the first 30 min i thought Carroll would of been ideal, Wigan had 11 men behind the ball and we have noone who can head in the box,apart from Agger and skertal.
OP: i have not seen the Wigan game but you say Adam was poor for the first time for a long time,Adam for me has never had a good game since he arrived, all this rubbish about the yardage he covers,to me he offers nothing to the to the team, he is slow, his passing nothing special, but his biggest problem is,his
tackling technique, he could get a yellow card every time because his tackles are so mistimed,& yet he
seems to be one of the first on Kennys team sheet,the
midfield of Adam,Henderson,& Shelvey is not good enough , without Stevie we look very poor,the only
positives are the back 4, with Skrtl & Agger
outstanding & Suarez & Bellamy up front . The rest
are average & thats being kind.Reina is also a positive.
