So what he said was factually correct, people can't make their mind up if caucasian people are white, pink or whatever so they gave us caucasian to save the effort.

the people i can't stand are the two extremes, the racists and also the jobsworths who get offended over **** all, although that applies not just to racism because people get offended about anything and everything nowadays. if all us in the middle were left to get on with it it would be all happy
I'm mixed race. The work coloured isn't racist, it's just a bit awkward.
Firstly it reminds me of what old people call black people, some of whom are racist, some of whom are not.
Secondly, and I think Hansen falls more into this category, it's an awkward word because people use it when they're scared of being racist, and that awkwardness comes across. It's like when people who don't know his name are looking paul, a black guy at work. "Have you seen that guy...you know, the tall one, wears a hat, brown eyes, black hair..." Saying anything to avoid just saying, "you know... the black bloke who sits there".
For there to be outrage about the use of coloured is ridiculous, but then if you read the article fully, it's just Stan Collymore and Rohan Ricketts self publicising on twitter.

All this would have not have happened had FA punished him within a week and ban him for 3 or 4 games.
Obviously, Liverpool got pis$ed off after listening to 8 games ban and they turn against FA.
8 games is excessive!, will there be a report published on why it's is so much?
8 games is about right .. he could of got more, a fan would of had a 3 yr ban ?
Some people need to build a bridge and get over themselves to be honest.

I never understood that "coloured" word people use. Why not just say black? Personally I think it depends on how you use it. Though a lot of people seem to have a chip in their shoulder.
