I'm not saying that at all. Suarez or Nani don't deserve it anyway. Van Persie should win it hands down, but as you have already pointed out you are only voting to stop Nani winning it which proves the poll is meaningless

suarez was leading nani at 11.30pm and had the most votes, the poll was supposed to close at midnight. however after midnight they made it impossible to actually vote for suarez (some kind of error screen appeared) while all other votes registered, meaning nani overtook suarez..lol what a joke.

i suspect that what has happened is you had already voted OP and the site is clever enough to recognise that and so any attempts at multiple voting were not registered, but they did give you the ability to change your vote if you so wished - hence why voting for Suarez generated an error and others didnt.

No, im not the only person its done it to, also in that case why does a blank screen load but i can also vote for anyone else apart from him.
I just tried it from my work PC rather than the vote I tried to cast yesterday from home and I got the same white screen. I then voted for Van Persie (who should have walked it anyway) and my vote was allowed.
Sky have rigged the vote to stop Suarez winning FACT. They have also rigged it so Giggs wins the best player in the last 20 yrs (Gerrard was winning at midnight but I do think it should be Giggs). Both polls were supposed to close at midnight last night but they obviously have not as I have just voted for Van Persie. There are a lot of screen shots and videos on the web showing that sky have rigged it so they will end up looking very stupid if the papers get hold of it and are interested in making Sky look stupid.
I could not care less who wins a stupid Sky award but it is the principle that matters. After all we do not live in Russia or North Korea where voting is rigged.

I could understand Sky maybe rigging the Suarez poll (given current sensitivities), but why would they rig the greatest player of 20 years poll?? they are looking for public votes, otherwise they may as well just decide it themselves.
