Last time I looked Steve Kean was still the manager of Blackburn Rovers and to be honest if only 100 fans could be bothered attending todays protest he will probably remain so for the foreseeable future. The only sure fire way to get Venkys/Kean out is to boycott games and hit them where it hurts ( in the pocket). A couple of gates under 10k should do the trick.
Chance? A f'king chance? 44 f'king games he's had
Well at least the next two games are winnable. Lets look at the fixture list......................................ah.

The Dons, who are planning to move to a new stadium, have attracted an average attendance of 9679 this season - almost 3000 less than fourth-best attended Hibs.
This is the protest West Coast was advocating perhaps?
Garner were all bad lads.dont matter that weve followed our team through thick and thin ,Division up and down. All the other fans are up in arms, when its their clubs its another story, again we are the bad lads.COYB get rid of Kean.
"This is the protest West Coast was advocating perhaps?"
Firstly - I suggest you do some fact checking Garner. Aberdeen's average attendance this season - 9,758. Hibs average attendance this season - 9,518.
Source http://soccernet.espn.go.com/stats/attendance/_/league/sco.1/scottish-premier-league?cc=5739
But don't let facts get in your way.
Secondly - yes, I think not paying to go to a game is a much more apporopriate protest than booing your own team when they score. Football managers are just normal people; why can't you guys understand that? Did english football learn nothing from the sad story of Gary Speed?
There has been 83 comments on this thread and no-one has explained why Steve Kean has attracted such bile from Blackburn fans. He has had one year in charge; the vast majority of which have been in circumstances very few managers could deal with. I can't see any reason for this treatment.
I'm not saying he is a good manager; his record suggests he's probably not very good. But I think he has not been given any chance to shown if he is good or not.
Starrover - here is an analogy.
You followed your wife through thick and thin, up and down. Then you punch her on the face when she does something you don't like. Does that sound reasonable to you? I'm afraid your past record doesn't mean much when you try to pick on someone you see as weaker than you.
I've never seen such vitriol towrads a football person before. (That doesn't mean it's never happened; just that its rare in the UK.) No footballing reasons justify the kind of pathetic bullying Blackburn fans have carried out recently.
If there is a non-footballing reason to dislike the man, I would like someone to enlighten me. If not, you should grow up and realise its just a game. Stop being so petty and reassess your priorities.
Can you respond to me please West Coast Don?
If he does return...why should I check facts when copying a snippet from a Scottish online newspaper.
brief synopsis:- Kean appointed after shock sacking of Big Sam-Venkys under guidance of SEM/Kentaro Keans agents!...7 wins from 38 games....admitting to forfeiting league cup Q-final and then a feeble attempt to backtrack...lying to court when on drink driving charge...i'm bored now so please yourself
blueandwhite I missed your post earlier.
"what would 99.99% of clubs have done? Sacked him after 10-20 games."
Talk of sacking a manager who is 10 games into his first managerial job is completely ridiculous. That is nowhere near enough time to be able to judge his abilitites. Even if it is something other clubs would do, it is foolishness in the extreme. This is what I mean when I say he hasn't been given a chance.
"Think of the worst manager you've had at Abderdeen in the last 30 years, now imagine he was kept at the club about 6 months longer than he actually was"
I assume you dont follow Scottish football, but Aberdeen have a history of taking a long time to get rid of a manager. Under Ebbe Skovdahl we finished bottom of the league (Aberdeen have never been relegated before), and we kept him for another two seasons before he eventually quit. Mark McGhee won 17 of 62 games and it took a year and a half to sack him.
Under both these managers there was disquiet from fans, and regular booing at half time and full time. But nothing close to what's happening at Blackburn.
"Be honest, what would your fans mood have been by that point?"
You guys keep suggesting this is something other fans would do in a similar position. But you're not special; lots of clubs have poor, unpopular managers. We just refrain from bullying and abusing them.
"why should I check facts when copying a snippet from a Scottish online newspaper."
Why should you try and be accurate when presenting something as fact in a debate? Because if we all just write down the first unsubstantiated "facts" that pop into our head, the whole thing becomes a bit pointless. It would have taken five seconds to check on google.
The Scottish winners of the record Euromillions jackpot, Hamish and Angus Weir, were asked about what they intend to do regarding begging letters.
"Oh we still intend to keep sending them" replied Angus.
It hasn't stopped you and others regurgitating media "facts" and opinion has it?
I thought a local aberdonian paper would be up to speed....my bad
