hes all left footed and always looks to cut in which sys to me he prefers the roaming role in the middle. thats my impression from his body language. but to play him there would mean sacrificing a striker bringing back the raunts of us playing a negative 4-5-1 setup!

think i might have mentioned the above when mcdermott first came here and a few times since..clark does not see it, he wont see it and mcdermott will leave here a worse player..he will then go on and do very well somewhere else where they dont have a f-ckwit in charge..

we have no one breaking from midfield, we have no one who ends up where the opposition are not expecting them and we have no one that the opposirion have to worry about and make extra plans for.. they mark our forwards and watch for our widemen(hunt more than anyone else) thats it then for the advanced "gameplan" to stop us playing..
its predictable and if its not an open game like wendies last week, we struggle badly for long periods..

We're still missing Damien Johnson, who should be fit in about 3 weeks. If he'd played with the Gobern and Miller combination yesterday it might just have added the 'finishing touch' to some of our possession play.

To be honest, I liked the way we played a lot of first time passes, moving the ball quickly. But like you say 38, it just needed someone to drive forwards from midfield and pull defenders out of shape.

I think a 2nd wide playing midfielder is unnecessary, we have Roberts on one side, and Hunt on the other...that's enough really. The 'extra' midfielder I would like to see being at the front of the 'diamond', interacting with rhodes and Novak, instead of out wide.

At Hillsbro', Novak was played just behind Rhodes and that seemed to work, so if we had someone to play behind both of them it would surely create the links a bit better.

I am not happy with 4 across the midfield when 2 are wide men, and that I believe is what is leading to a lot of sideways passing. Just a bit more of a decisive edge is all we need...but overall the passing was a lot more accurate than of late.

Gobern looked quality, and I'm excitied about seeing him get a few regular games and to see how he continues to improve and grow in confidence.

Donal is still a young lad! Last season the Bournemouth fans said he only lasted between 60 - 70 mins! He's not had a lot if game time this season and was hauled off in 61st minute! Maybe it's still a problem!

I thought he was shocking on whatever day it was now. Watch him when he's not on the ball, lazy boy

I like DM he is only a young kid at the end of the day, I thought he did well the for the 5mins i saw him v Chef Wed and the other day, LC says he is a winger and he says he is a winger, But whenever i saw him for BMuff i actually thought he was a more central player ?, DM is one of those players who get better the more ball they have at their feet,, He hasnt struck me as a particularly lazy player, He needs to get a few games under his belt and bulk up a little bit, If he does we will have a smashing player on our books, He is imo one for the future rather than one we should expect to be relying on at this moment in time.
