I wouldn't have wasted my money. If people voted with their feet then maybe something positive would be done.

Kasper knows which club has more ambition, simples.

Players will be well aware of what is happening at the club and who intended ins & outs are so his exit seems worrying news for you lot.

oi focks read sati-91's article above...

typical leeds fans never happy.

bates has done a good job for you lot. voting with your feet makes sense: less income=less money for transfers. interest in smith, woodgate and bowyer doesn't exactly say no ambition to me. there's hardly any transfer action gone on yet, players contracts don't run out until end of the month. schmeichal won't sign a new contract so you'd rather lose him for nothing next year??

Boro, read kasper's statement, it's not a case of he wouldn't sign a new contract, he was never offered a new contract.

Leeds have plenty of money it's just all being spent on a hotel I'm afraid.

so grayson's a liar? think i'd rather believe a respectable man than a lad who follows money over ambition. Going from man city to league 2??

Boro i didnt have a problem till today but if we keep letting players go for no reason after all we have no money probs so why are we letting players like kasper who has potential go?

Boro, so let's be clear, you're saying that Kapser went public with a statement that is a lie?

can't really do a lot if players don't want to play for you. looks like kilkenny and johnson turned down contracts and are going for free and seems like schmeichal wanted to have another season with you, see if you got promoted and if not have his choice of clubs when he's available on a free. it makes no sense for leeds to allow that to happen. it's very early to be criticising the club for not bringing peope in. Players and managers will be on holiday, sorting out contracts for current players etc.

no it seems that the club spoke to the agent and didn't think it would be worth offering a contract.

I think both Johnson and Kilkenny wanted to stay! but the club not offering enough!

Boro, with all due respect, you're not a Leeds fan, don't see the same old rubbish we have to put up with every transfer window etc etc.

bang on jonty! same old drabness!

i fear Ken Bates will be the first man to live to 200 and still be the owner of Leeds

no i see a club who came up from league 1 last season and should be happy with where they finished last season. You are not yet in the position to be promoted. it's all very nice having a season in the premiership but when you come back down you are in a worse position. this happened to burnley and hull and will happen to blackpool and norwich. Yet all I see and hear from leeds fans is moaning. you have one of the best young english managers in the game and plenty of you still moan about him and call for his head! The sad fact is, and it's the same for Boro, being in the championship/league 1, if a club comes in from a higher division with a decent offer, players will want to go and be sold. This is referring to snodgrass, the schmeichal thing is different.

Krusty-we all know what happened last time leeds paid over the odds for players. You cannot be held to ransom over wages. saying that, I can't see why johnson would have wanted to stay when he will be in the premiership next year.

Boro i know full well about what happened when we paid well over the odds but surely we can keep our players its joke! were making profit and yet they won't gamble a few grand to lets say Beckford 2 years ago just frustrating every year!

So what about newcastle and west brom?

Explain your comment in full detail? Why o why is he best young english managers in the game?

That was years and years ago and that was silly money not second division money for a club that gets over 27k average a season with the 5th most expensive season tickets in england! The club is a gold mine and we can not keep anyone.

Krusty, calm down.
Breathe in, breathe out & repeat ......

newcastle and west brom are different. they had premiership squads in the championship and didn't need massive investment to survive.

grayson took over when you were out of the play offs, guided you to play off final where you narrowly lost, the next season you won the league and this year you finished one place outside of the play offs. not a bad record.

it seems to me that beckford and johnson were very similar-have amazing games and shockers, were greedy and believe they are better than they are. players like that could easily be world beaters one season and donkeys the next.

believe me, i know the frustration. As a boro fan, in the 90s we were offering more wages than anyone in england and now we are going to get out-bidded in wages by cardiff for an average player. I just think it's better to have players who want to be at the club and give their all every game rather than players who would leave in a heartbeat.

You can't even get your facts straight.

We never made it to play off final with Grayson we fell at earlier stage than previous manager.

We did not go up as Champions.

Please, stick to commenting on Boro as you obviously don;t know anything about Leeds.

posted on 20/6/11

ok my bad, still not the worst record. final or no final, didn't go up, champions or not, still went up. doesn't make a difference.

i'll leave you to your pathetic grumbling. you'd of thought the last few years would of taught you to count your blessings! instead you're moaning because you've lost a very average keeper.

But that is in the lower leagues and means nothing now. This is big boys stuff now something sg has never done or ever look like doing.
