@ Bubbles, VDV is awesome but he won't be as effective in the Modric role. We would get a replacement no doubt especially if we do make champions league.........but as i say, i believe Modric is just waiting to see how spurs do this season before commiting. If we make the CL next season ( we got a great chance) then Modric will commit i'm sure of it. He knows he made a mistake in terms of all that fuss in the summer and i think deep down he is glad he has stayed because look how good we have become? The main thing is Modric won't be leaving in Jan which means our side won't be disrupted
