I saw that, i dont think he said the deal will collapse, he just said there is a lot of work to do on the person terms
hmmmm a mere snag i am sure
AVB trying to confused the press
All he said in his presser is that they are far from agreeing personal terms
Chelseamf™®© (U1677)
Probably is a done deal as long as he get's less than 70K a week it would be good business IMO
Looks like Carlo has gone French wonder if he will take any of the dead wood off us we all know how much he loves his pensioners sorry experience....
didier - Hope you have a good new year
Whoop de do, so we are going to buy a centre half who has been found wanting on many occasions this year, and by average strikers at times too. His side are languishing near the bottom of the table, and look defensively as though they are totally bereft of ideas.
Forgive me if I dont join in the jumping up and down wont you

wearethefamousthfc...Best team in London December 2011 .. (U10288)
wonder who which one will get a start at the Euros?
AVB said that the club and the player were miles away from agreeing personal terms, so I would say the deal is very much in the balance.
I imagine Cahill's agent is arguing that we have agreed a low fee for the player that he wants a big salary.
Which of course Chelsea quite correctly will not agree to.
Sandsend......
I am not sure one way or another about Cahill either, but in fairness to the player I don´t think the fact that Bolton are bottom of the table tells us anything about him as an individual player...............there are plenty of good players that have been signed from relegation teams.................just ask Spurs fans what they think of Scott Parker.
Carlo has appointed Makalele as his no 2!
Mourinho's
I totally agree with the Scotty Parker comment, I wanted him back at HQ but the Cahill issue is different, we are looking for a defensive leader to take over from JT, Cahill cannot command the bolton defence to hold a straight line when stepping up, what chance has he of doing it at our drum.
We are the famous thfc, you have added the "best team in London2011" tag to your chosen sobriquet, this is quite some statement, your own 606ers think you a WUM, methinks they have a point, for your sake I hope they do
i just hope cahill isn't rejecting us for 'footballing reasons'....
The media saying something negative about Chelsea ?
Surely not.
Just saw AVB press conference I think he was just messing around in one breath he says's "we are miles apart and we will continue to monitor other targets for this postion.". then he say's I am sure we will find a solution and goes on to talk about Cahill positives

We have very poor fullbacks ATM, the great majority of goals have come from fullbacks mistakes ....
i think there are better options though.
so if it does fall through due to gary being a mercenary, its his fault.
