The most sensible Arsenal Article I've ever seen.

Well done Sir

When have we ever attracted the best players in the world?

Bergkamp a Serie A flop.
Overmars a cripple.
Henry a Serie A flop
Vieira a Serie A flop.

etc etc etc

When has Wenger ever bought the best players from around the world?

Do you want to splash out 50 million on Torres in January? Save the long term transfers for the summer, Henry is exactly what we require right now. A backup for van persie, someone who knows how to put the ball in the back of the net.

When oh when will I have an original thought?

Sorry JJG!

It is funny how Sir Bumbly sees an inaccurate article as the most sensible article he has seen by an Arsenal fan. The fool.

First Ricketts, then Bentley, then Gallas, then Adebayor. Who will Spurs turn to next to get over the pain of losing Sol and then seeing him win the title twice at Arsenal (coincidently the same number of titles Spurs have ever won!)

"First it was Campbell, then Jens, now Henry...who's next?"

Just from Gooner talk twitter:

Peruvian news outlet 'El Bocon' claim that Arsenal have made a 14m euro bid for Fiorentina wingback Juan Vargas. (Kudos to @Ben2011_London)

Please let this be right.

How good is Vargas?

The Vargas I hear more about is the one who's joining Napoli.

Bergkamp a Serie A flop.
Overmars a cripple.
Henry a Serie A flop
Vieira a Serie A flop.
-----------------------------------------------------
maybe they were flop somewhere else but they had talents that other people couldn't see or appreciate.
Bergkamp was one of the best since his Ajax time. You can't say he was bad player, so was Overmass.
Henry and Vieira also were good players at their previous clubs but didn't get more play time in Italy because there were other players ahead of them at pecking orders.
Can't call none of those players flop, really. You know who has flopped? Andy Carroll and Torres are good examples of flop.No matter how opportuinities they've been given, they can't proved their wealthy. That's flop imo.

"How good is Vargas?"

It's a bit tacky and commercial but the Casino's are amazing.

And mine was a simple question as to which of our rejects will Spurs be turning to to try and win that elusive League Title.

Cut and paste doesnt say much for your argument OP.

Name a single world class player that Arsenal have signed under Wenger?

We dont buy them mate, we make them.

And have you noticed how many players who were world class in their prime return to the clubs where it all started off?

Robinho
Ronaldo (fat one)
Van Niestelroy
Pires

Marseille want Drogba back as AC do Kaka. Ask any Pool fans whether they would not take Torres back with open arms, noting obviously that he is younger than Henry.

Tanzanian, the point being we didn't sign the "current best players".

We have signed mainly youngsters, players struggling and relative unknowns.
