When has Mccormack ever produced as a lone striker?
Its not a blessing for Bates
He may not be able to sell him
When has Mccormack ever produced as a lone striker?
----
To be fair, he's got no chance to impress as a lone striker for us, especially when we play the long ball and hoof it into the channels. He could be decent as a lone striker, considering he's got a good first touch, and can link up well, but only if we played to his feet.
The players will not be able to rely on him or Howson for a while, they'll have to show us what they are made of!
It will be interesting to say the least.
MOT!
The rumour of Townsend suddenly seems correct.
Like it or not the best players generally carry a football team.
That is why its imperative to keep the likes of Gradel or replace them with similar quality.
If not we all know what happens.
Sorry but its appendicitis, not a break or a tear. No team who want him are going to be put off a player of his quality because of this.
All it means is we don't have is quality playing for us
When a player plays well it would surely make a difference.
For example if Snoddy banged in a loads of goals in the upcoming matches including arsenal on the tv it would put him in the shop window.
His performances this season, along with his recent Scotland call ups have already done that.
His injury is one that will not put teams off signing him, its not some blessing in disguise.

Although I agree he hasn't really shown anything on his own has he had the chance?
In a 4-2-3-1 this gives the chance for White, Sam and Nunez to push up and help Ross and Ross also works back a lot to allow these players to go forward too. Would be unfair to leave out Nunez he was the spark we've needed for a while when he came on against Derby.
The thing is, with Snoddy out, the supply chain will be altered. Who is to say Ross McCormack might not benefit from it?
We might be surprised by what happens.
Yes agreed his performances have done that already, his stock would rise even more if he was playing well.
snodgrass has got a presence on the pitch that sam and nunez just dont have.
Snodgrass didn't start out at ER with that presence its something that has come along through game time. I believe Sam can on his day do a decent job, but Nunez has talent and could gain a presence with games!

Them other two are happy and better dancers eh?
Its very good news, its not trajic as the the team are playing so badly and he wasnt that effective.
1. Will deter teams from buying him in Jan, some might still recognise the talent.
2. We'll sign another new winger, yes yes yes
