It doesnt mean we will do better in second half but yes we normally do so fingers crossed !
yes, the next highest was in 03/04 - won 15, drew one, and lost 3. went to 16-1-3 after 20 games. Then Ferdinand had his 6 month suspension and we lost 6 of final 18 league games.
This is a good website for stats - you can view any season at any point in that respective season.

Imagine the year we won the treble in 98/99 we had a 9-7-3 record after 19 games

we MUST be a team in decline, then
if we win this season, will be the best ever.
how are we amassing so many points with so many injuries? Is it possible that the removal of certain players from the side has actually made us better? Eg The article about us losing Vidic (lack of pace) allowing us to play higher up the field and hence score more. Lindegaard replacing VDS - 8 clean sheets etc. No Anderson meaning more assists/goal threat from the middle etc
Great start all considering and only spoilt by city's unexpectedly good start. Only word of caution is that we have all the top 5 teams to play away yet in 2nd half of season, not sure if that has happened before or not
Aroon, how many starts has Lindergaard had in the league? Ando and Clevs started our season for us on the right note and we've played well because there's little tinkering going on. It's funny Ando has done more for us this season than Cleverley but people think he's the new messiah.
I can't stand football fans who hype players for a couple of good performances and slate others for some bad performances.
A lot of people are even jumping on the Carrick bandwagon.
It's amazing that we've achieved this without signing all the supposed big names that we supposedly need according to some.
We have a team of winners and it's a priviledge to support them.
