No, we can't. If you weren't at all worried you wouldn't get annoyed, it wouldn't bother you at all. You'd just laugh it off.

And I know some of you are quite worried, I've read your official forum. (where people think they are safe and are honest!)

BAF if you look at the achievements of both McClaren and Ericson since their respective stints as England manager McClaren has achieved more honours than Ericson. Having taken Dutch side Twente to second place in the Dutch league and FA cup runners up in his first season in charge then winning the title in his second season in charge the only time the club had ever done it plus he was made Dutch manager of the year this was despite Ajax's winning run of 14 victories at the end of that season trying to catch Twente which they just failed to do. (I tend to watch for his results because he once played for City) which I would suggest says he won more honours after he left the England job than Sven did who managed a top ten finish with Man City - Failed to get Mexico to the World Cup and from memory there was massive protests to his appointment and he lost almost every competative match that he was in charge of followed by a stint as manager at the Ivory Coast where to be fair he guided them to the world cup finals although I can't remember how they qualified.
So I stand by my origional statement that since leaving the England job SM has achieved more honours than SGE. I don't claim which is the better manager though next season might tell quite a lot on that front with your near rivals being managed by SM and you by SVE.

Mate, the vast majority of us are fully aware that if Nick Maynard decides to leave, there will not be a single thing any fan can do about it!
What would be the point of spending any time worrying about it?
You just don't seem to accept that we don't believe you are a big enough club to prise him away.

Oficial forum OTIB don't make me laugh thats not the official forum we don't have one as such, thats quite an elitist forum who for one reason or another don't allow lots of other BCFC fans to join so hardly representative of the general fan base - and I also take objection to the posts from your lot saying we are signing a player when your club hasn't made an offer you are just thinking that everyone wants to join you sorry you are Leicester City in the Championship not Manchester City/ Manchester United / Chelsea or Arsenal who if they put in a bid I would think thats it he's gone.

You're right, I don't accept that.

Christ you lot are embarrassing

What because you can't convince us you are one of the biggest club in the country? Well sorry to shatter your illusions but you are not. But neither are we not that we think we are as a rule, we do have a few over the top fans as do all clubs but your lot currently take the biscuit for being the most full of themselves fans which is really something to manage to beat Florist to that title. Lets get something straight I don't 'hate' your club I have no real feelings about it in anyway. I'm sure you love your club as much as fans of other clubs love their clubs. But as we are not even local rivals I wonder why your fans keep posting on this board that you are such a greta side you can walk in and sign any player you want for peanuts - Perhaps you mixed us up with Bristol Rovers who if she couls eat Irene might just might be interested though I think bananas might be a bigger inducement.

Emilio, your not doing yourself many favours, in 2008 when you were relegated to league 1 we were in the champioship play-off final. You are completely deluded if you think your big-time. Your making a fool of yourself and your team.

I think the fact that you were FA cup runners up in 1969 will swing Nicky. You lot are worse than the Leeds fans.....

cant we end this pointless arguement

Don't be silly Lacy - everyone knows the FA cup is a much devalued competition nowadays. It's all about the Prem, and we finished runners-up in 1929 don't you know!? If that doesn't sway Nicky's intentions then frankly I'm not sure what will

Haha I envy that! ^

I really cannot believe we have Leicester fans on here trying to make out they are a big club!

beggars belief.

We should also add if you are crediting second place finishes in the top division then we also have one to our credit 06-07 finished runners up to Newcastle Utd but if we want to go on talkingancient history(in the football sense)then PNE - Huddersfield and any number of clubs would be classed as bigger than both of our teams put together. At the moment we are both in the second tier of the football pyramid both teams have wealthy backers and both sides have managers who want to manage their clubs in the top division of the current teams in the championship for next season there is IMO only one club that might temp Nicky as being a fairly good bet to make a bid for promotion to the top flight at the end of this season and it's neither us or you the one club that would really worry me if they made an approach would be West Ham Utd. They seem to be the best placed of all the relegated sides to go straight back up.
