Honestly if the reason given on the report is really the reason Suarez got banned then the FA really need som head checking..
There's nothing like picking someone's word against another. If that is the case that former IMF head would have been in jail right now. Very poor by the FA.
I'm just shocked he wasn't talking about Spurs.
Aye, he should be banned soon enough.
Hope not, it's funny when the Spurs fans rip into him all at the same time.

Proud Scouse what are your views on your league campaign this season?

We know Suarez isn't a racist, he's just guilty of excessive wumming. We forgive him.
Arab Manc
Don't listen to Ruiney, he's scared of objective football discussion which is why he's so threatened by me.
To answer your question; overall I'm fairly happy with our season so far. The King's main aim at the outset was to qualify for CL football and I'm confident that we'll do that
I love Ruiney, he's my best bud though

when talking in terms of defamatory please don't refer to Evra as "that known liar Evra....."
As that is also defamatory.
My final word on this, it's new years eve and I'm sure we've all got better things to be doing .
The way I've interpreted what I've read so far is, (yes I'm aware that we'll all interpret it differently, depending on our allegiance)
Suarez fouled Evra
Evra approaches Suarez in a confrontational manner, and threatens to kick him.
Suarez retaliates by pinching Evra
The ONE clear time the word 'negro' appears to have been used is when Suarez says 'por que negro'. This is in response to Evra referring to Suarez as a 'South American'.
Evra either mistranslates this, or is wound up and intent on getting Suarez in trouble.
Evra claims after the match, both to the ref, and on French TV that Suarez was racist towards him more than once (5 times to the ref, 10 on French TV).
The panel conclude that Suarez' evidence is unreliable, because of the claims surrounding the pinching incident. But Evra's is reliable in spite of the threat to kick Suarez, his antagonistic manner, the use of South American and the discrepancy in the amount of times Suarez was racist towards him.
This with a lack of clear evidence, or testimony to back Evra's claims up from his team mates, or the referee leads to a guilty verdict.
Makes sense doesn't it?

will you guys just stop calling evra a proven liar. Its been said here on this site time and time again that evra has made no prior complain to this one. Why do liverpool fans still persist to peddle that falsehood? Do we have to draw you a picture before you get it? Seriously
I'm sure he'll wind you up sooner or later Arab, articles would go on for weeks with him involved, good times.
He can try, but I'm not associating many debating with Liverpool fans as such now and we both know why.
admin 1 just beat me to that
Anfield RAP - We disagree about the punishment.
The FA were never going to and will never brand someone a racist because they would end up in court quicker than than people on this site jump on a band wagon.
They have though found Suarez guilty of using a racist term while verbally abusing Evra which given Suarez's evidence about the linguistics seem a bit too far for me.
The only evidence to the contary is Evra's which is one mans word against another and therefore the punishment is well over the top.
