I see Eddie Davies the `owner` of Bolton Wanderers has been awarded a CBE in the New Years Honours List.
So I guess if you become a tax exile in The Isle of Man and register your companies in The Cayman Islands thereby avoiding paying UK tax, you get a gong from Her Majesty. I am sure there is a moral in there somewhere.
So you are a Claret then. When I read your profile it didn't specify. Damn, will have to change my name again!!! I think the playoffs are well within our reach this season. We are picking up important results even when we don't perform particularly well. Looking forward to 2012. UTC
Happy New Year Wrexham. Sometimes profiles can be misleading although I do like Barcelona.
Just trying to resurrect our board that was killed off by a few insurgents, hopefully they will still away but I doubt it.
Play offs are a possibiltity but it is such a tight league anything can happen. Today will be a good test and we owe Leeds one......or two. UTC
A Yorkshire referee for a Leeds v Burnley game ? Red Card was a certainty.
As was `We will play until Leeds score`
Regardless, we slaughtered you on the pitch before the red card and after and deserved the win. You got one lucky break and scored.
Also the referee added an extra 2 on to the 5 due to the fact that Grant was time wasting all the time. He kept moving from one side of his 6 yard box to the other. Letting the ball run right past him so he had to go after it but walking to it. He did it that often some ref's would have given him a yellow twice.
Learn the rules. The keeper can take a goal kick from either side of the 6 yard box. Stupid rule but a rule non the less.Ref probably lives next to Grayson.
I never said that.
Grant placed the ball on the right side, then stepped back to the post, banged his feet against the post, then went and picked the ball up and took it to the other side, and was about to repeat it when the referee knew 100% what he was doing and booked him.
Blatant Timewasting- Got what you derserved- Nothing
Could not handle Townsend in the Game- 4 yellows cards just against him says it all.
Do not try to defend the indefencible- all were bookings.
Keeper got rightly booked and extra time added on- Grant cost you a point for the blatant wasting of time.
You have to admit the irony was funny though. He time wastes getting on the nerves of every Leeds fan, and then he messes up and gives Ross an open goal
No mention of the joke second booking /sending off for Trippier I see. Ref was a Yorkie, Lino was a Yorkie, 4th Official a West Yorkie.
I will sleep well knowing we will be there at the end of the season. Mid table at best for Leeds. Only decent player you had was on loan.
Trippier could not handle Townsend nothing to do with the Ref.
1. You had a player sent off for two bookable offences
2. You had less posession than us.
3. You had less corners than us
4. you had less shots than us
5. You scored an own goal
6. You timewasted to such an extent it backfired
7 Your goalkeeper made an error that we capitalised on
Just get over it
And we had our 2 best, Premiership quality players injured. And a good few decent players injured.
Also, there are rules you know. I think it's 2 hours. If you're from or live 2 hours away from the place of any of the teams in the match, you can only be the 4th officialy.
The referee was from East Yorkshire. I know it was Yorkshire v Lancashire. But due to rivalries Leeds aren't liked by Yorkshire teams, so he probably doesn't particularly like Leeds.
Jason Tyas, the 4th official was from West Yorkshire, as you stated, but how does that count when they're only allowed to help the referee on game changing decisions, which he didn't because the incidence couldn't have been further away.
Great display by 10 v 14. UTC
Anti........Are you very young ?
My age is irrelevant, I'm a part time referee in Blue Square Prem, which is one level away from referee'ing Premiership. I've officiated at Wembley, I know the rules, you clearly don't.
Thanks, that explains everything.
You sound like a 12 year old little boy that is whining because his team was out played. Eddie Howe could not be more wrong. I do not know what game he was watching. I would admit it otherwise because at the end of the day we got 3 points, it doesn't effect me, but we out played you before the sending off and after. You had 1 lucky break and scored. Right from the sending off you parked the bus. You tried to defend 0-0 and to be fair, most days it would work as our strikers are off form. But when you park the bus you always run the risk of conceding and not been able to get that back.
Ok. According to your `rules`, if you live within 2 hours of Leeds then you can only be the 4th official. So far so good as far Jason Tyas of West Yorkshire is concerned. However lets talk about the referee who resides in East Yorkshire. Having lived in Yorkshire for many years my question to you is `Which part of East Yorkshire is more than 2 hours from Leeds` ? Let me remind you that London is less than 2 hours from Leeds by train. Perhaps it is 2 hours walking in which case Wakefield is over 2 hours away !

its a conspiracy I tell you, a conspiracy!
Outplayed, you were lucky, simple as! With eleven men you wouldn't have had a sniff. Barnsley hammered you and look how they got on in their last game! Face it Leeds are going to bottle it as usual. Happy new year to you to ILI
So Mr Referee what is your answer ? ..............or is my question a little difficult for you. Looks like a red card for you my friend.
Happy New Year Wrexham, sorry I cant offer it in Welsh .Very happy with the Trippier signing and it looks like we might get Mee as well. At least Trips only misses the Norwich game which is far less important than Boro.
Big game for Owen Coyle super whites today ! Interesting times
Actually you replied 11 horus ago, that would be roughly 6 in the morning, I have things to do through the day, I'm guessing you don't work? Do many in Burnley?
I'm actually spending my time looking for proof in the FA forms as I'm not sure the exact distance as it is a rule that is only introduced as you become higher up in the league pyramid. If you referee Sunday League football then it doesn't count. The division obviously has to cover enough area for the rule to have a point. I think it increases as you go up, and decreases as you go down the roles of authority as a friend of mine ran the line at the York v Luton Blue Square Premiership Play-Off Semi-Final a few years back.
I'm actually just currently watching extended highlights of the game on LUTV and although it doesn't show the first booking, the 2nd was definitely a booking. If he barged him then it wouldn't, but what I didn't see at the game was that he actually used his hands and shoved him over with force.
