Blueandwhite - I totally agree with you actually, Samba has been probably the most reliable CB in the PL for the last 3 or 4 years, every time i watch Blackburn (which i do often as i like you guys) he is a total beast
Just hope you dont lose too many of your players...the fans are the ones who will suffer due to the idiotic owners
I just don't think Venkys can retain what little credibility they have if Samba is allowed to go. Get rid of the rest but he to stay until the Summer at least.
Pretty shocking that we are in such a financial position that we cannot play Salgado and Roberts even if we wanted to. Smacks a bit of James at Portsmouth and we all know what happened to them.
Cheers RRP! Not many people seem to have been on our fans side this season so its nice to get someone who occasionally is.
No worries blueandwhite
Its clear to see the Venkies have no clue what so ever on how to run a football club, the fact they have no representation here in England when your in trouble just adds to it all
I just don't think Venkys can retain what little credibility they have if Samba is allowed to go.

I don't think credibility is high up on their agenda.

Samba in top 5 cb in league?
Its a warning to fans looking to get current owners out, would be a shame to see Blackburn go the way of Leeds, Pompey etc because of corrupt owners.
There was only one fan looking to get the last owners out.
Only one? More than one at other clubs could lead a club into similar problems
Yep, he now supports Manchester City and is a consistent source of entertainment.
I'd be gutted if those terrible owners turn you into a Portsmouth or Leeds lads honestly, the premier league relegation spot has been terrible for some northern clubs but I wouldn't wish it on our lancashire neighbours. Why can't it be Liverpool in your situation
You can't blame other clubs coming in for your best players. It happens all the time. The only ones to blame for this situation are your owners. The main negative if this is all true is you probably won't be able to hold out for that extra few mill when you have to start selling players, an example being when we got several players from Pompey for peanuts. I generally don't want you to go down though as there are worse teams in the league.
Yes that's because I gave a toss while the club was sliding into eventual mediocrity under disinterested ownership. Its only now that people realise the previous owners didn't give a toss about the club or even Jack Walker.
But people like the guy above are just as ignorant as venkys are so they couldn't possibly understand. Funny how rovers fans go on now about how jack would be turning in his grave. He would have been for the past decade never mind the last year.
Its good when bad things happen to bad people and rovers fans are reaping what they sowed now after how they treated me. The guy above took sadistic enjoyment in causing me nothing but misery but at least now you know how it feels. Still rovers fans never learn from their own ignorance and despite venkys are just as big a bunch of liars as they have always been. Family club? Absolute tosh.
Yes that's because I gave a toss while the club was sliding into eventual mediocrity under disinterested ownership.
-----------------------
Yeah, Sam Allardyce was doing a terrible job setting us up for a second successive top 10 finish, as well as the numerous times under Hughes and Souness where we got into Europe
Funny how rovers fans go on now about how jack would be turning in his grave. He would have been for the past decade never mind the last year.
----------------
Unlikely, as far as I'm aware he wantted the club to be self-sufficient, and it was getting there, but no "self-sufficient" club with a fan base of circa 20,000 is going to be able to stay in the top flight without investment.

-------------------------
Nope, you're just a glory hunter who can't take it when the going gets tough. You spend all this time going on about Jack Walker when you openly admit you were only a supporter in the very last part of his tenure, a time when we were starting to rely on academy products such as Dunn and Duff to get us back into the Premier League.
Jog on back to your own board.
Right and never mind the fact that Allardyce was looking for a way out before venkys came in. There's such a thing as thinking a few steps ahead you know?
Not unlikely at all. Strange how rovers fans suddenly care about what jack would have thought isn't it? When its convenient you give a toss about what he would have felt but otherwise...
Never mind the fact that I stayed around for 14 years and the last 6 were pure hell. You don't know anything about why I left other than what I've said. Yes I initially went out of hatred for Man United but its quickly developed to something more than that.
How rovers fans can have the nerve to complain about media ignorance is beyond me. Try looking in the mirror.
Evil wouldn't be too strong a word to describe some rovers fans. I don't use that word lightly and it certainly applies to people like RTM08. Why should I or those in the media who are backing kean feel sorry for such people?
Anyone in blackburn who introduces their kids to rovers should be up for child abuse.
Seriously Vinjay, I can't believe you can honestly say those things about Jack, His love for Rovers was unquestionable, but really you think he thought more of Rovers than his children? or the people he trusted with his entire families interests, business, money? those people you have called fit to burn and been vile towards? I Think that would more likely have him "spinning in his grave" don't you? I can't think of some of your more choice quotes, but they weren't pleasant.
Do you think he would have wanted his family destitute? with the thought that "As long as Rovers are OK that's fine, My family can all live on the social, that's what the public expect form someone who was once possibly one of the richest 30 men in the country should do"
What then, what when the money ran out? Maybe the walker trust members should have looked into selling kidneys..
So you got your wish, maybe they heard you saying what a horrible group they were and thought, "well stuff this, I'm not in it to be insulted" and sold up. You celebrated, you cheered you told everyone it was liberation day, how we would "mark your words"
Seems you now support City... Odd really
Strange how rovers fans suddenly care about what jack would have thought isn't it?
--------------------
We always have. And I'm pretty sure he would have been proud of our clubs achievements since our Premier League return.
Evil wouldn't be too strong a word to describe some rovers fans. I don't use that word lightly and it certainly applies to people like RTM08. Why should I or those in the media who are backing kean feel sorry for such people?
-----------------------
Evil?
What? Because I don't want glory hunters such as you trying to tell us loyal Rovers fans what's what, when you yourself can hardly be classed as ever being a fan? Get real.
Anyone in blackburn who introduces their kids to rovers should be up for child abuse.
----------------
You won't have a problem staying away from us "evil" ones then. Bye!
Yet you class the likes of Jones as a fan right? Did you read what he said after Sundays game?
Evil for driving people like me away when all I ever did was try to help the club. What exactly did I do that was so bad? The only reason I'm not a fan is because there's nothing left at rovers to be a fan of.
When did you care about Jack? When you're going on about burnley despite the fact he hated United? Do you give a toss about him then? No you don't that's how little you think of what he did for this club. You're an embarrassment to him.
Why feed the Manc Sc/W um?
"Never mind the fact that I stayed around for 14 years"
I wish you hadn't and wish you well choosing to support a club solely because they are currently United's biggest rivals. Yeah, you're not one of Society's Specials at all...
You're wasting your time. He's either the greatest WUM ever or completely deluded.
Yet you class the likes of Jones as a fan right? Did you read what he said after Sundays game?
----------------
Personally I don't class Jones as a fan, so you're wrong there.
Evil for driving people like me away when all I ever did was try to help the club.
------------------
You drove yourself from the club. Just because you're so fixated on various things you read a long time ago (which you never back up with factual evidence) you think that everyone else must agree with your insane ramblings!
When did you care about Jack? When you're going on about burnley despite the fact he hated United? Do you give a toss about him then? No you don't that's how little you think of what he did for this club. You're an embarrassment to him.

Oh yes, I'm guessing that since we beat MANCHESTER United (as you have a track record for being pedantic) we are their great rivals now, yes? Were we their rivals before Jack Walker? No. Just because we had a few seasons fighting it out with the big boys doesn't mean we are their rivals forever.
This is a shame for you's as those player in my opinion are good enough to get you out of the mess you're currently in, however if this is true and the better players are to be sold then the situation looks very grim, and you'll still blame steve kean won't you.

No, probably blaming the owners, what was kean supposed to say when offered the job "no thanks, i'm obviously not up to it" his hands are tied and he is obviously trying his best, and that cannot be made any easier by having everyone on his back, it's not as though you are getting humped 4 and 5 every game, the rub of the green in a few games is all you need, samba's goal yesterday for example on another day would have stood and that would have been three unbeaten on the spin in games where you would have expected nothing,

How is this obvious? His actions are undermining this club? Not just the poor lack of tactical nous, poor substitutions but also the transfer dealings, alienation of senior players and lack of ability to motivate.
