He's just been playing total carp, to be honest. He played against B'muff, when to be fair about 4 or 5 Hudds Players were off their games, but Ward couldn't even kick the ball straight.
So he's left out , to ponder on his ineffectiveness.

£1 million that is a massive rip off.

Pilkington for £1.75 million what a bargain that is, cracking player, one of the few to be as good with his left foot, as his right.

So is he playing in the reserves? Or just no game time what so ever? I would take a chance on him for a few months back here! He was electric that boy!

Would do well for a good manager. Unfortunately he started the first game for us, got dropped, came on as sub and scored, then started the next match, then got dropped again ...

... and so it goes on. Surprise, surprise, he looks low on confidence now.

Ward's a very good young prospect but unfortunitely he has not been handled too well recently. All he needs is an extended run in the team instead of being put under constant pressure to hold his place when he gets the odd chance.

Ward's a strong lad who is hard to knock off the ball, he gets stuck in, has decent pace and excellent shot and all he needs is an extended run out wide on the left, where he can provide a good supply of crosses for ace marksman Rhodes to finish off.

So it's all down to manager Clark to recognise his best position and give him a chance to show everyone what he's really capable off.

If I was his manager he'd be a fixture on the left wing and he wouldn't be fearing the axe everytime he fails to shine, which is currently case.

Sadly its' true...and along with a few decent players, it's one shot and you're out. Danny is a young lad, and plays on confidence...but no one is giving him any. he will be a great player, with the right management and coaching, but at the moment he's gone. We don;t have a reserve side, so he just plays in the odd 'technical' games (friendlies).

A loan out might be a good idea...as all our loanees suddenly seem to find amazing form when they leave the Galpharm..

The problem in the B/mouth game was that the ball distribution TO him was absolute garbage. I reckon that at least 6 times when he running down the wing the ball was played behind him and it went into touch. Which made him look worse than he actually was....Our defence & central midfield were more to blame for his bland performance that day....
I went the County ground to watch the FA cup game earlier this season, and I thought the reception that the Swindon fans gave him when he came on (off the bench) was very very good, but he didn't play very well. In fact the Swindon fans were booing him after about 5 minutes...Aren't we all a bit fickle these days..

I agree with Jacko and Mirf agrees with us too,, His young un lacks communication skills,, A few others would have Ward pulling up trees for us more often than not and excuse the odd quiet nothing goes right game.

He could also do with losing a few pounds, definitely seems to have gained some timber since he arrived here.

Well if you have a word with your side, I'll have a word with mine and we can give him a run out for a few weeks if you like!! ...... I wish!

he looks a bit tubby, i agree...and he always seems to get kicked on the ankle in first 10 mins of games, and he doesn't like it. Sometimes he's a bit like an overwound clockwork toy, but he has one heck of a shot on him, when he gets chance to use it. I think he'll improve with age...like a good wine.
