Will be interesting to see how the Championship loanees (Townsend, Mason, Kane, Button) change the prospects of the recipient clubs.
Townsend by all accounts was MOM in his first game yesterday.
"cant think why Townsend snubbed the long ball team, can you?"
Big club ??
Recent decent history (top league winners, CL semis etc) ??

Plus, Leeds dont just hoof it.
"Plus, Leeds dont just hoof it."
I don't know the Leeds style of play.
Tommy Townton may come here and educate us.
I didn't even know Kane was out on loan, I'm normally right up to date

I will try to keep it as current as possible.
Harry Kane is set to start for Millwall tonight with Darius Henderson injured. Hope this lad can really kick on and get goals more regularly.
Kane obviously deemed to be above the Os current standard.
But obviously not ready for Spurs (if ever) .
I dont think Kane will ever be Spurs standard, unfortunately. I know he's still young but good strikers, Defoe, Owen etc were standing out in their respective club's 1st team's when they were 17/18.
Thought he'd go back to League 1 for another season if i'm honest, hardly set it alight last season. That was his first time out on loan however, and at age 17.
While he is on our wage bill, and the club have neither a buyer nor the inclination to get rid, a loan suits all parties.
This will be the Spurs way.
The kids have to look at Walker now, and Caulker soon, and accept this will be the way they get to the big time.
Would love Spurs to still get involved with all those weird and wonderful leagues you used to see on the inside back pages of match programmes in the late 70s / early 80s.
Tottenham are playing tonight and chasing 4th spot, yet you lot are preoccupied with the fortunes of Championship West Ham, yet again. Love it!
Excuse me, Spanner.
We are discussing our superior kids and which clubs will best suit their progression into the Spurs PL squad.
The fact that you cannot deal with such a bit-part player dismissing your pathetic little club out of hand, is an irrelevance to us.
I stand corrected - you're chasing the title, no less. And all you can talk about is West Ham. Priceless!

when i was a small child, my grandad used to tell me about something called West Ham, does anyone know what they are? ..if so - where i could get to see them? ...He said you could see them for a quid when he was a lad - does anyone know how much it would be now?
West Ham ?? Millwall's big rivals i recall, not that I take too much notice of the little leagues and teams
Avram Grant, Milwall legend
