if you offer 3 for 1 and the 3 players offered are reserves for you but improve the other teams XI in exchange for 1 of their players that owuld get into abetter teams XI, then of course it looks like it improves both teams, but the bigger club is the one that ultimately gains

for instance, you could offer, fletch, dede and lennon for klose, botia and farfan, and all 3 would go into their starting xi, but the difference between farfan and lennon is much bigger than the gap between the other 2 so whilst it looks like they gain, its you that gains
