They could have nine points above us, but i doubt Everton would lose without a fight against them. Most of the big teams will come to us, so we have an advantage over them.

There appears to be very bitter Arsenal fans on this thread.

Its a shame cos I didnt think they were a group of moaning s

Nah, we will finish above spurs. They will relax and their results will drop off now that they've achieved their season target of not getting relegated

Look at Spurs' fixtures. there isn't an easy match for about 10 games.

Bet you didn't think they would do it as an extended Christmas holiday though.

Edin it's not about being bitter, Spurs may or may not finish above us, who knows, but you're out biggest rivals and you make me , to surrender like this is shameful.

Targetting 47+ pts before the <Citeh> game.
Targetting for 13/27 in phase 2 (<Citeh> to Chelsky) .
Targetting 16/24 for the final 8 games.

Total = 76 pts

Unless we're below spurs in which case + 10 points

"You do understand how football works?"

I understand that the team that gets 76 pts finishes in the top 4.
I also understand that Spurs are currently +6 ahead of that target.

Spurs have been squirreling away pts for the bleak period to come.

posted on 3/1/12

Spurs IMO are beginning to fade.

They will still make top 4 IMO but are by no means insurmountable for either Chelsea or Arsenal

posted on 3/1/12

I dont look at Spurs to say we won't finish ahead of them

I look at our team. They are getting all sorts of points deserved or undeserved.
When they start dropping point does anyone think our team will be good enough to take advantage??

Wenger has ruled out signing anyone decent and all our first teamers are out till Feb.

We are still relying on Walcott and Gervinho plus a 6ft6 defender who plays like he is 5ft4

with a clueless manager who has no tactical know how. Who says he could see the opposition players trying to get his player sent off yet made no substitutions
