Terrible news if true.

No fan should ever not come home.

Hope it's wrong but if not then condolences to all involved.

There's nothing on the news sites but I suppose that's to be expected so soon after. Hope it's not true and the poor bloke is ok

First & foremost, R.I.P to that fella (if true). If not, then i wish him a quick recovery.

On another note, did anyone else notice the Cockerel was missing from the stand?

Apparently it was considered hazardous because of the strong winds, so they took it down. Anyone seen this before?

This was in the Haringey Independent today:

A SPURS fan died after suffering a heart attack at last night’s match against West Bromwich Albion.

The 81-year-old man went into cardiac arrest at around 7.45pm – the time the match kicked off – and paramedics treated inside White Hart Lane, according to the club.

Despite attempts to resuscitate him both at the stadium and on the way to North Middlesex Hospital, he was pronounced dead later in the evening.

In a statement, Spurs said: “Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.”

Tributes have poured in from fellow fans on social networking site Twitter, with Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe posting: “RIP to Spurs fan that sadly passed away at last night's game. Condolences to all his family!”

Chicken :

I commented on the match thread that Shelf side chirpy had been removed. Wind must have been strong.
