McCleary has some golden strikes like against ipswitch and crystal palace last season but then fades into the background for one reason or another. Id like to see him hit the net like that consistently while hes being picked by SC and compete for regular starts but thats only if he hits form.
He's stopped giving the ball away in dodgy positions which I think annoyed BD. I know Davies was on his back pretty early but don't think his approach helped him, some players react differently to being given a hard time.
Him and Gunter look good together (playing on the right, not as a couple).
I noticed that before, in the game v Reading last season at the CG they linked up well.
McCleary is great with the ball, the problem is without it he is a liability. Far too lazy and will not do the ugly part of the game, tackle and track back etc. If he can sort that out he will be a good player, if he doesn't then he is a luxury player who can actually cost games.
Always been a fan of McCleary should have been playing alot more games as he has match changing ability in his locker.
Magic, he's a typical Forest midfielder then, very good at some things, dreadful at others.
Mcleary, i reckon, is a confidence player. With gunter behind him, it could be the start of something.
Are you watching the same player? He scored a great goal on Saturday and is capable of a decent strike but other than that is completely ineffective. His crossing is very very poor and considering he is a winger that's not good! He just so rarely has an end product there is no point playing him. Wouldn't be in the team if we had any other winger!
Hes pap and looks like that hey ya fella
he's one of these players that just has some tricks and some pace. he will give the ball away a lot at times. other times he will just run the ball into the corner and eventually loose it. but every now and then he might just do something brilliant. (like ipswich) his challenge is going to be consistency. if he can acheive that then he can be a great player for us. he can only do that if he gets games so lets give him a run in the team now.
