Lonners wore it when kissa went off the other day so would guess he would carry that on. Tom might still not be fit for monday and i also dont think he needs any distractions he just needs to focus on what he himself is doing. The only other viable options are clayton or becchio (if he is playing).

I'd have said either Becchio or McCormack.

But Lonergan seems like a really good option.

Clayton.

Lees or Lonners for me.

Lonergan would be a decent shout. Although Becchio could relish been given the armband. Maybe it will give him some confidence and get him back to his best!

Becchio is a great shout, doing so would be real statement of just what he still means to the club.

To me the armband doesn't mean much. Leaders are leaders with or without it and it's not really as big a deal as people make it out to be.

I know some other countries don't get Englands obsession with the captaincy, however the English game has developed around the idea that been the captain is both an honour and a privilege.

Ita more than just a band.

Of course it's a priviledge, but with Howson out, it doesn't matter too much who holds it temporarily.

People said Howson wasn't a good captain because he doesn't shout his head off.

One of the problems this season is, Kisnorbo aside, we have no leaders.

Grayson for player/manager, I'm sure bates has considered the option after all he 's already on the wage bill, makes sense !!

Grayson would be a better player than he is a manager.

I quite like the idea of giving the armband to younger players, so Lees or Clayton would be a good choice.

Of the more experienced players I think Danny Pugh is the best option now he's signed permanently, although Becchio is an important player for us and the armband might make him up his game a bit.

Another Howson???

Do you mean an ineffective player that gets into the team every week without actually doing much, only his local factor makes him popular??

Our team has been poor since Beckford and Gradel left, Howsons absence has made no difference, a bit like when he plays

No i mean the next quality academy product following in the footsteps of one of the more important players that STILL play for Leeds,

who scored equaliser in Bristol game on final day of promotion season, set up McCormack against Brighton 93rd minute, scored numerous quality goals , and coincide his absence with our bad form , so what were you trying to say...
