Hate to say but, with Villa injured, I can only see Cavni going to Barcelona. Then you should all just give up.

There's no doubt Lukaku can become a tremendous player for Chelsea but he's a kid and the Belgium league is way off the standard of the Premier League. Putting the kind of pressure on him as early as next season to play as a 2nd choice striker would not be beneficial to his progress, yes he needs some exposure but he also needs to develop without the spotlight on him while he adjusts to a new style of football. I'd suggest next season he will play between the first team and reserves making steady progress, or perhaps even a loan to a team like Villa for example.

I'm a fan of Cavani but again bringing him in to a new league and expecting him to lead the line straight away with one kid as back up is unrealistic.

I'd be interested to see how Sturridge does through the middle but in order to do that we need at least one quality wide player to take his role on the right and also supply him, if that happened then fine.

with Kalou likely to go and Anelka already gone and perhaps Drogba too there is no way we can cope with Cavani, Sturridge and Lukaku as our only three recognised strikers. We'd need someone experienced in the PL such as Torres at the very least. Besides, when you invest £50mil in one player we have to give him time. If he's the same in another 12 months time, fair enough cut our loses but not yet. We've invested too much and despite his dire form the potential rewards are too good to be ignored.

Torres needs to start putting the ball in the net on a consistent basis otherwise he will be sold this summer regardless of who comes in.

We won't sign Cavani 100% certain of that

Barca play Messi up front and wouldn't move him back out wide.

Torres may as well be gone already.

We need a new centre forward as a matter of urgency, but will have to wait until the summer to get a player of Cavani's quality. If we sign him I'd be delighted, but I won;t hold my breath. Cavani and maybe a young forward would be decent business if Torres goes (and I hope he goes far away from my club)

I've no doubt Cavani would settle in the premier league, I do doubt that we will be able to sign him tho.

Now until the end of the season will be Torres's judgement, n if he doesn't come out of it scoring think a transfer to Athletico (the only team who'll gamble on him) is on the wall. We'll probably get Falcao in return which'll be the replacement, not Cavani.

I still believe he'll find his feet at some point, whether it's with us or not.

I also don't think Cavani will come
