Bin dead for years Dry,Live football,Prem and Champions League have consigned it to the ranks of the European leagues equivalent where most fans don't really give a toss about it, unless they win it of course..
We've just had Christmas. Works getting tougher. People are skint. Simple.
Rubbish ties aswell. Obviously out of the local clubs we will get the biggest gate because of playing west sham.
Fancy us to beat them 2-1.
Swansea, Notts County and Salisbury.
Hardly inspiring.
Swansea being in the prem was
and Salisbury from the stone henge league was
it is!! just like your chances of finishing second
rhodes is gonna get ya!!
Come off it DRY, being in the 'prem' doesn't make Swansea 'attractive'. Any half-decent big side and the crowds'd be higher.
Rhodes is gonna go with a big club. Enjoy while it lasts chudders
Yeh, yer right Izzy ,,
.. it;s a long way from Swansea to Barnsley
he,s with a big club!!
your making yourselves look stupid with your obsession with jr....and your owlstalk with daily threads on another teams player!!
but i forgot you have already secured promotion
If you're going to Barnsley, it's a long way from anywhere.
barca u thinking there might be another repeat of last year?
Think Rhodes will end up at Liverpool. They need a striker what won't cost much,he's worth the risk.
As for promotion the top 5 will contest it. Personally I think we will finish 2nd and Charlton will bottle it,so anyone one of you could take the league. Aslong as we go up I don't care.
A few people (mostly Huddersfield fans) keep saying 'Charlton will drop away' or 'Charlton will bottle it' as above. The only clubs I see 'bottling it' week in, week out, are the chasing pack, usually in the last 10 minutes of a game. So please enlighten me.
Charlton seem to be choking now, their December was horrid.
Also worth mentioning Salisbury brought 3'000 people to the Lane
I went to watch Macclesfield play Bolton, it finished 2-2, Macclesfield played them off the park and deserved to win. Capacity 6,000, and 5,700 turned up. For very small struggling clubs like Macc, the FA Cup is very much alive..!
Apparently this year has seen the biggest 3rd round attendances for many (20?) years. Even before the Arsenal-Leeds attendance is known. Not a bad turn-out for us and we were well entertained.
