If fit would be a natural replacement for Mckenna, with bags more quality.

It was only a couple of years ago that Manu paid £17mill for him. If it was a pay as you play deal then he would certainly be a great signing

Nope. He has played about 2 hours in 2 seasons.
He is also a Canadian born English man who played at the biggest club in Germany then the biggest club in the UK.
I don't think his heart would be in it if he ever gets fit enough to make the first team!

When he's been interviewed he really came across as wanting to play football week in week out. Obviously over the last two seasons he has been left heavily frustrated and certainly has a point to prove in England. (Remind you of anyone else that joined the club recently?)

What's McClaren's association with Hargreaves? He joined Utd after McC left and was injured while he was England boss wasn't he?

No. A risk too great. Even pay as you play means a commitment to the player for medical care (if you are doing your job properly) and let's face facts - he is (unfortunately for him and England) going to be injured. I think he should retire.

Jedi, maybe he'd rather risk it, play and get a few thousand quid trying?

With the greatest of respect, i'm sure OH could get a pay as you play deal at somewhere much better than Forest, if you were to offer him a proper contract then that might be a better chance.

There are the likes of Vila, Stoke, Bolton, Wigan, even West Ham & Birmingham who represent a bigger club than Forest.

He has already admitted that so far he has had no offers from prem clubs and a few press articles have suggested he may have to try and rebuild his career in the Championship.

Funny to read all the "no's"

I'd be jealous if you signed him.
