Ferguson was using the 2nd half to get some players match fit. For goodness sake, we won the game. We went 1.0 up before the red. I honestly believe we would have got something out of the game even if it was 11 vs 11.
Shut the hell up CP. For once. You were predicting we'd lose by 3 or 4 before the game. We were 3 up at half time, and should have had a penalty in the 2nd. A great free kick and a mistake from Evra/Scholes gave them 2 goals back, but we stuffed them overall and were the better side. Carrick should have been man of the match so I don't think your analysis of us is quite right.
Granted the second half was poor from a Utd perspective but their goals came from a fantastic free kick and a error from Scholes. We are far too sloppy in possession, how many times did Giggs and Evra waste possession, how many times did Ferdinand hoof the ball up field in desperation?
We are poor in possession because of lack of quality in central midfield.
Win was superb, unexpected but the general performance was typically poor and does not cover up the known deficiencies.

I cant believe all of the negative comments on here. We beat City!! Yes we were lucky at the end but it was alwats going to be full of incidents.
The difference is Fergie is the manager, not you CP, you're a fan, you're supposed to enjoy it. Managers are paid to not be satisfied with a performance, not you!

Sorry CP but I missed the point where he said City dominated. What he said is that we made mistakes. We were not dominated in the second half, we just didn't use the ball well and didn't commit enough to attacks
