I think its more about desperation and how weak their squad is for the championship. I can't see them staying up.

Do you regard wanting to sign two of your best players as desperation? what a strange thing to say!

Yep they are two of our best players and you are desperate to sign them

posted on 22/6/11

Being desperate to sign them, or wanting to sign them out of desperation are two completely different things.

This out today - I think it is a new statement that they are not moving, isn't it?

they dont wanna leave mk for championship football and would rather stay in league one on prob less money than posh would have to offer to tempt them away. what does that say bout peterborough united??

Face it Posh they are not going you'll have to find someone else to help you survive in the championship

We will see,

I would imagine there are plenty of other irons in the fire, it's quiet all round at the moment, so time will tell.

As I said Baby Fergie is desperate to sign our players and so much for MacAnthony's promise (but who takes his promises seriously if they know him),

"I am never happy at failing to land certain targets but we respect MK's decision and move on"

It seems Baby Fergie has no respect and I suspect we will see him at MK Dons games until the summer transfer is closed pleading with our players to join Posh.

BTW Have Posh season tickets exceeded 4000 yet. What a poor show for a club in the Championship!

posted on 22/6/11

Yes they have, and they are set at a maximum sale of 4,500.

posted on 22/6/11

We will have a reduced capacity due to the old Moyes end being rebuilt with an all seater stand.

any more cheap digs?

posted on 22/6/11

I imagine there are plenty of cheap digs in Peterborough.

You haven't even reached your cap of 4500. As the saying goes if the cap fits then wear it or in your case its too big for you.

posted on 22/6/11

Or have you reached 4500 by now. Don't tell me they are loads more wanting to a season ticket but can't.get one.

As you know, we have the quality, not the kids,

that's why your away support is so abysmal, when they are not allowed to travel without adult supervision.

posted on 22/6/11

Stop trying to change the subject So have you reached your cap yet and what was the excuse the last time you were in the Championship?

Nice try lads, but I don't bite, I fish.

and so has your's - Baldock is as good as on his way

posted on 22/6/11

"as good as" you mean he hasn't then.

According to MacAnthony Posh has only sold 4300 season tickets. Perhaps he ought to lower the cap and it seems those who have bought a ticket aren't happy.

I don't think MacAnthony would be a good enough busker for him to lower his cap, he might get a few foreign coins and some tuppences, but that won't be enough to buy Sammy
