Big blow for england that is.
excuse number 1 - Bressie out
Excuse number 2 - ???
Only joking. Bressie bowling style suits those wickets much more than finns, so happy to see that as an alternative from a pak viewpoint.
BIG blow for England, it really is.
Pakistan relying on injuries eh Kash
Lol Dernbach Pakistan have there own injury worry in Junaid but yeah i'm happy he's injured more in a mark of respect to England.
Being happy that a fine cricketer is injured is pretty mean spirited. I thought that winning at all costs was confined to soccer fans. Apparently not.
Hope don't be so touchy mate.
Nothing touchy about me. Just commenting on your poor sportsmanship.
Hopefor,
Obviously i meant Im happy to see finn as an alternative for Bressie. Not happy because he's injured. Injuries are part and parcel of the game, and sometimes give the opposition a slight optimism rather than "happiness". Thats all. Being yorkshire born and bred, i wish bressie a speedy recovery
They all are crumbling because of fear. They will succumb to the heat of desert and it will be 3-0
OH yeah, bad news for England this,Bresnan looked pretty decent in the subcon condition in the bangladesh .earlier.
He averages 45 with the bat too.
Anyway, i think England will struggle to maintain their high standard over there in Dubai.
But here is a hoping that Cook gets a double in one inning.
I think that Amla's silky beard has been smoking those Jamaican cigarettes again...
Also, chill hopefor, don't take it the wrong way

Finn is a better bowler than Bresnan.
So, from an England team perspective - big blow to lose an inform player, but Finn at 22 is a huge talent.
The more experience he can get, the better.
I could not put it any better Neon
I for one was ecstatic when Mcgrath trod on a loose ball at Edgbaston in 05. And while I can't speak for all England, those around me at the ground that day didn't try too hard to conceal their delight.
This is a big big blow. I expected him to be our workhorse, our most threatening bowler when the ball was old. Finn is good, but suddenly i'm not so confident of our chances.
To be fair, this is not as big blow as some are making out to be .England have excellent benchstrenght to compensate for his loss but I agree with Afridi that England might miss his batting because Pakistan are not good either at dismissing lower order.
Bresnan offers something different to any other England bowler. Both Tremlett and Finn are 6'7" back of a length bowlers whereas Bresnan is more in the Flintoff mold bowling a "heavy ball" and is the best exponent of reverse swing of all all our bowlers. He will be greatly missed.
Onions is also drafed as a replacement. Another good seam bowler.
Mind you, how good was Finn in India?
Would definitely go for Finn/Anderson/Broad rather than Tremlett.
Tremlett then Onions over Finn please...
it's a shame, but not the end of the world. there are plenty of good seamers around in the england setup, it's just a case of choosing the right one. Personally, i'd go for tremlett
