You might be right but you might be also terribly wrong. We will just have to wait and see. I agree completely that Murray is a better player than his slam record shows but at the same time, he is not the first, nor will be the last player who 'deserved' but bever won a slam.
I make him second favourite at the AO this year, after Djokovic. Nadal, I just don't see him winning it. It will be one of Djokovic, Murray, Federer this year.
Hope it is Djokovic but good luck to your man.
cheers blade. i would just love to see Andy win a slam. he comes across as a decent guy and him and nole think the world of each other.
i'm sure nole would love to see his great friend finally cross that line
Yes, he said that much himself. Although, if it is Djokovic-Murray final again, that will not count for much of course, they will both be desparate to win.
oh of course. he's hardly going to to lie down to him but i do think the gap has closed a bit. like yourself i kind of rule nadal out this time. djoko, followed closely by murray
depending on the draw it could well be a repeat of the final last year and given andy's recent form i honestly think he would take nole in 4 this time around
I suspect Andy will be on Nadal's side of the draw and Fed on Djoko's ( I am one of those who don't believe in random draw for the top 4!!!!!).
When that happens (and I am confident that it will), Djokovic will play Andy in the final and win in 5 sets.
Feel free to remind me of my predictions in 3 weeks time!
i think you'll be right mate apart from the final result. Andy always lands in Rafa's half of the draw and how many semi finals have fed and nole played
as i said though andy in 4
return of the plank. come on mate hit us with some of your witty innuendos
In my opinion, the rankings show the order of favourites at AO.
There is absolutely no reason why Murray should be considered favourite over Federer and Nadal, let alone Djokovic.
Same story every year...this unsubstantiated hype before every AO...
If he hadn't done it last year when Ferrer cleared the path for him by beating Nadal, I really don't see him doing it ever.
Unless the top 3 get injured or stg.
nole you really are quite arrogant
I don't really care who Marryay represents, that is entirely up to him. I judge him on his tennis skills and he is a hell of a player. He'll get it right some time soon, I'm sure.
Let's look at it this way: 90% of slams in the next 4-5 year will be won between Djokovic, Murray and Nadal. Mark my words!
I certainly hope and believe you'll be proved right blade. nole i apologise but sometimes you can be overly dismissive of Andy and don't show him the respect I believe he is due but that's your right.
