It looks like his signing is imminent . . . . unless Mr. McLeish gets his wicked way with him

I hope we don't find any spanners thrown in by him, 'cos I think he's be a very good acquisition for Bonus and S.A.F.C.

I am delighted to read this article, and strongly hope it is true.

that will mean some of our more delusional fans will shut up about us re-signing him.

I thought Arsene was interested in him
From what I've seen of him, he's a very good player . . . . maybe not quite good enough for Arsenal, perhaps

You have got yourself a really good player there. Works very hard and gives 100% every match. Wish we had signed him at Bolton.

Bluenose in peace

Larsson is decent he is not great, he does work hard for the team.

His weakness is he lacks width, a yard of pace and most of all confidence or ability to run at/past defenders, so he lacked penetration on the wings.

Can be effective if other players in the team can push defenders back deep, then Larsson can get forwards more with less defenders to pass.

His Crossing is ok, can be inconsistant.

His trump card people think is his dead balls, well he was hit and miss, one season he was great. This season he missed and messed up far far more than he got right.

Its not his fault McLeish never used him in a more central role in his 4,5,1 as what Larsson lacked as a attacking Winger meant we never got much support or service for Jerome.

Overall he is a usefull player, only way i can sum him up is a right footed Matty Taylor from Bolton.

Will always be thankfull to Larsson, he worked hard for us even though he earnt less than £300K a year.

Glad he has gone to Sunderland and Bruce, and wish him and Sunderland all the best.

Good Utility player you have, its a shame that McLeish thought he was the only option for RM when we lacked penetration.

If you had watched Matt Taylor for Bolton last season he was awful, that`s why he`s rumoured to be off to West Ham. Seb Larsson is far superior to Matt Taylor.

Potentially Larsson is better all round, does not have the goal threat of Taylor but if you think Larsson is far better than Matty Taylor then fans would be very disapointed

Especially if Larsson takes all the dead balls and has a dispointing return like this seasons gone.

Larsson is an excellent signing for you guys, the best days of Seb were under Bruce.

When we brought in Mr Defensive, Seb started being more defensive and then lost confidence in taking on his man and being more attacking. We saw the old Seb in the second half of the season.

He works hard for the team and is passionate, what more could you ask for from a player.

Good point

Larsson in Championship especially with Bruce was a class act.

Last 10 games this season gone Larsson did show more confidence at making runs, especially cutting in central and then scoring some vital goals.

Hence i think he could have been played more central, played him and Gardner in the centre and allowed Bentley RM with Ferguson holding the back four as CDM.

If Sunderland can press sides back, then Larsson can get more forwards.

Its a pitty Larsson was not as accurate with his freekicks as he was in past, as this season had he been more consistant we may have had another few goals which could have made all the difference.

I wish him all the best, always remember what he did for us like his mate Forsell when he left. Never forget what those pair did for us.
