Gervais' next project will be based in and around Liverpool, and is called "Victim Complex."
A David-Brent-like character will drone on endlessly about conspiracies against the people of Liverpool. Some of the hilarious scenes include victims of crime being ridiculed and abused while the perpetrators of said crimes are deifed!!!

Maybe he can start off with a lie, then explain that lie by strangulating a route whereby that lie should be considered legitimate, i.e. by suggesting that it should be translated through three different languages in order to offer an explanation why he lied!
That seems to be an acceptable way of excusing things so maybe it will work?

Filming going really well according to Gervais.
Great footage from the Europa League games. Apparently, the behind-the-scenes stuff in Bilbao is priceless.
