I agree, I have probably been going a tad longer than your goodself, but this team is evolving into a really good unit. I saw the double side and we have had some good sides since, 67, early 70s, early 80s, early 90s, but none have shown the consistency other than perhaps the 67 side to go on long unbeaten sides like the current team.
Spurs also have some excellent youngsters coming to the fore, which we have not had for a number of years.
The future is really looking bright. This in my opinion will not be a one-off season.
It makes even better to hear all you oldies saying how this is possibly the best Spurs team you've seen!
I'm in my thirties, so have known mostly mediocrity (with a few exceptions) in my Spurs supporting life. And this current team really excites me. But to hear from people who watched Spurs as far back as the 60s/70s, shows just how good this current team is!

My fav team was the 81 cup side but that's because it contained some of my very fav players but I believe this current team is better
Hed ...Great comment
The 80s teams were ok.
Raised our hopes a bit then, too (81/82 - now that is a REAL Quadruple chasing season G00ns , 84/85) .
Hi Guys,
Like Hedley I have been supporting Spurs since October 1958, other than the Double Team, this has to be the best all round team I have sen us put out. Great spirit & team work & genuine support for each other.
The way we play the game is a delight to watch, as Harry said last night if you don't like the way Spurs pass the ball around, then you don't like football!
