Tottenham have done tremendously well. But like I keep saying, I believe this is down to the Harry Redknapp factor.
He is a superb motivator who has a habit of bringing the best out of players. Just look what he did at Portsmouth (and, to a lesser extent, West Ham).
However, once Harry leaves Tottenham, they will go back to being a mid-table club.
And also they are winning games on the mercy of a borrowed player.

What's a mid table club anyway?

12th is mid table in premier league.
Emirates >= OS > Stamford Bridge > WHL

No it's not you plank, 10th is mid table, due to the fact there are 20 teams in the league.

Any team that finishes between 8th to 13th is a mid table.

West Ham fans quaking in their boots because their biggest rival is challenging for the league.

See that's why I posted the link to the article.
If you read ti you would see that the majority of those posting either don't care about Spurs, or would be happy to see them do well.
For most of us you have never been our 'rivals'. Just another London team.
Now, if you want to talk Millwall, or even Chelsea, well that's a different matter.
Fair post and yes I did read the link fully. I always had a soft spot for West Ham because they've shared our philosophy of attractive football down the years - long before the Woolwich 'invented' it - plus the fact that half of my extended family were West Ham fans. The problem on 606 is underlined by the first two responders. Myhammers has an unhealthy obsession with Spurs & stadia, and Mafia has an unhealthy interest in Spurs and the over-use of smileys to punctuate his posts - possibly as his English isn't very good. The pair of them spend too much time attempting to WUM us and generally give WH a bad rep. Personally? I have no problem with WH and think you deserve a lot better than the comedy bunch that's currently running your club.
Cheers Rockney, although of course you've just ruled yourself out of the 'unreasonable' category...
I've only ever really seen this 'rivalry' on 606.
It all seems so terribly 'playground' - but I guess there's no reasoning with some folk.
A very good mate of mine is old school Spurs, so I'd be pleased for him if you did well.

thudd - so it took you two and a half months to come up with that response?
I'm not really sure it was worth the wait, but then, I'm not really clear what point you were trying to make.
