Are you serious? Another sacking? Steve friggin Bruce! I would rather have a dowie and roeder combo with wise and shearer coaching!

I hope this is a joke?! Pearson has had a handful of games and you want him sacked? This is the problem
With many city fans, you believe we have some sort of Devine right to be winning games instantly with out hard work or a chance to build a team! If we sack Pearson I would hand my season ticket back to the club! He needs this season and the summer to rebuild at the minimum, our owners continually talk about being here for the long term, well give a manager time to do a job!

My responce to an article a few below! Fits this one as well I think!

Gone are the days of give the guy a chance! Personally I would put a lot of the blame on the shoulders of the owners and the son who got a football club as his birthday toy! Wanting promotion yesterday was alway going to end like this!

Jimi, I think too many of our fans are living in cloud cuckoo land

wow, what a comment, steve bruce??!! i'd rather shove a swarm of angry wasps up my bob hole than see him as our manager.
Realisticly, we will finish mid table this season, we just need to accept that. Next season, Pearson will have us flying.

Pearson will sort it out but we have a painful month ahead of us or maybe longer if he cant get the few players we need (4 players).
Expectations by myself and others has been too high.

Think hard and be honest to yourselves we were not much better under Sven and were not getting promoted under him.

This is the low point we needed otherwise mediocrity was the forecast for the rest of the season.

I couldn't disagree with this poster more. Sven was sacked far too soon, let's not make the same mistake again.

Another change, same players but yet more ideas sounds like a recipe for relegation to me.

Sven shouldnt of been sacked, but if your thinking about sacking Pearson you're delusional

This is hilarious. Steve Bruce!?

So when we played this amazing football under Sven why did we lose to Bristol city, reading, Birmingham, Millwall and draw loads of other games? Why did we never once grace the top 6 despite spending millions?

Go and join John Fallon and John Gee in the away supporters section if you are not going to get behind your manager

I disagree slightly with that. I'm not saying Sven would've got us promoted, but the last few matches have been considerably worse than anything we ever witnessed under the super Swede. At least with Sven in charge we had the consolation of watching adventurous, entertaining football while we were being maddeningly inconsistent. Then we were just depressed - now we're bored, have cricked necks and we're still depressed!

Don't get me wrong though I'm not saying NP should go - quite the opposite - I just believe Sven was sacked far too early. Pearson should be given at least next season to get us promoted, sacking him this season, let alone now, would be ridiculous - the bloke's hardly got his feet under the desk yet. And as for Bruce, good Lord no

It would plainly be foolish to swap managers once again at this point, just as it was criminally foolish to unload Sven so quickly. We had a basinful of chopping and changing under Mandaric, and look where it got us. (Personally I don't at all rate Bruce anyway, although I wouldn't have minded giving Warnock a shot. But that's all academic).

Would Sven have got us promoted? We'll never know, although - again, personally - I'm confident we had more chance with him than we do with Pearson. What we do know, as MaasFox reminds us, is that our present football is considerably worse than anything we ever saw with Sven, and that we have gone backwards since he left.

But be that as it may, there is now no alternative to letting Pearson try to lead us out of this mess, for at least the rest of this season. If we make a persuasive run at the play-offs, he should be given next season too, although the Thais may not have the patience for that.

Finally....it is offensive to question the commitment and loyalty of fellow Foxes fans, simply because they hold different views to one's own.

Mallingfox it's offensive in my view to constantly criticise the manager of a football you claim to be a loyal fan after only 10 games.

Trish
You are one of the few people on hear that takes any sense.

My right to criticise Pearson, after one game or a hundred, comes precisely from my being - unlike Pearson - a loyal fan of the club for as many decades as he has been alive. Be very careful before you question anybody's loyalty, Blackstarr - always a big mistake on this board.

Thank you cityfox

Malling, I think Starr is frustrated, nobody doubts each others loyalties for the club, it's just that we are all do desperate for us to do well but due to the mess the club is in and make no mistake about it we are in a mess we all have different opinions on how it can improve. Let's all pull together As a club

Mallingfox yes it's your right but don't be surprised when people get upset with your criticism. I make my comments on loyalty carefully, I honestly believe that being a fan means you should back the club and the manager even if you don't like him. It's no good saying you back him and then criticising him constantly.

In my view every fan should get behind the club which includes the manager. It's an easy thing to say, not do easy to do. Let me remind you of a post you made a few weeks back (yes I have some time on my hands!)

'We must surely all back Pearson 100%, and give him the time to show us - and of course his paymasters - what he can do.'

Enough said....
