This game aside, all three have actually been very good. Sinlcair wasn't as good in this game as others, but he's been better than Walcott.

He wouldn't in your eyes. I bet Johnson and Gerrard don't either.

Just because he's gone to Liverpool, doesn't mean all of a sudden he's played well for England. When he was at Villa and Boro I (and I imagine most people) were aware that he's average.

There are hardly any players that play well for England. Gerrard, Rooney, Terry, Lampard, Johnson, are among many of these players. Only biased fans like yourself would believe otherwise.

Downing does play well for England.

So well that in his 32 caps he has rarely started - despite being the only natural left winger we have had in years - and has never scored. Take the rose tinted glasses off.

Nathan Dyer is a class player. No surprise that once I take him out of my fantasy team he scores in 3 consecutive matches.

To be fair its only the last few games Dyer has been REALLY good. The first half of the season he wasn't doing an awful lot

The last game Downing played for England he was arguably MOTM and he didn't play one position. Downing is terrible at LW for Liverpool and apart from the last game he played for England he's not that good in that position.

Yeah he had a good game against Sweden. That does not mean that he has played well in the other 31 matches though, as he has not.

Downing last few games for England have actually been very good. He was MOTM in the last one he played yep.

That was the only game he's played any good. This is what I'm saying. To say that Downing plays well for England is a fallacy, based on the fact he has not had many good performances. It's like saying Torres has been fantastic for Chelsea because he was great against United.
