has marshall signed for you lot yet?
Tez, I am sure he will (or won't). Some rumours flying about that we'll go in for the unproven Swindon winger Matt Ritchie as a fall back option. The usual rumour-mill chaff.
Has Rhodes been flogged yet? With your £10 million transfer kitty he'll be replaced no doubt - with your club's appeal you will easily sign someone like Roy Race or Walter Mitty.
Lowe isn't good enough, what are you talking about, yes his goalscoring record is good, but when the ball isn't in the 6 yard box, i.e saturday he's rubbish! O Grady is our best player atm and is improving with every game.
Lowe stands offside, can't hold the ball up and can see why he's been playing in league 2 for his whole career.
' We've only scored more than 2 goals once in 4 months! '..
.. but only just, take a week..
October 8th ..Wednesday 3 - Chesterfield 1.. Madine played 90 minutes ( Madine scored 59 th minute) .. Lowe was'nt in the squad ( O' Grady played 72 minutes )
December 17th .. Wednesday 4 - Huddersfield 4.. Madine injured dint play.. Lowe played 2nd half ( O' Grady scored 74 th minute)..
It's the mix that count
'yes his goalscoring record is good'
That's kind of my point - we've got 9 other outfield players to be running around so personally, think we can afford someone who scores.
I don't agree that he isn't good enough either - League 1 is hardly a huge step up - just look at Stevenage. I know Chesterfield have struggled but that's largely because they lost players who scored about 40 goals for them last year and their manager knows anothing about defending.
Yes you can turn it around and say look at Chesterfield.
Would be nice to score more than two this coming Saturday..
..but hey ho..
..will settle for 2 -0 and three points
'Yes you can turn it around and say look at Chesterfield.'
Still, though, doesn't explain how Stevenage are able to get into the play-offs positions if it's such a step-up and I did explain why Chessie are struggling..
Anyway, I would take 2-0 in a heartbeat!
Told you so. Well done Jones.
Obviously Lowe is a better goalscorer than COG but the main change has been the balance across midfield & in general a more attacking attitude.
