Lets hope we make our bid soon then :p
Apparently there are three to five bids that have been accepted, It's all down to Craig now, good luck.
Waste of money really don't want him at Leicester. Looked very poor when posh were in the championship before. Nicky Maynard every day of the week over CMS.

He always seems to be on the score sheet though....
He got 10 league goals the season Peterborough finished bottom of the Championship.
1 every 4 games.....maybe in a better team he'll get double that.
No disrespect to Posh.
This would be tragic.
£5m for Maynard - probably worth it.
£3m for Mackail-Smith - very risky.
We had top League 1 striker who hadn't proved himself in the Championship recently. He then had a a very decent season in the Championship and we sold him for £1.2m!
We've also spent at least £2m on Waghorn, someone we'll probably sell for around £1m this summer. And we're selling Hobbs, a former player of the year and young prospect, for £800,000.
Where's the logic in all this?
37 goals last season, the lad must have something about him
<ghost.
3m does seem an awful lot to pay.....
Surely not a panic buy at 3 million quid, so Sven must rate him very very highly.
And don't forget Hobbs made cms look poor in league one and the championship and we all know what Sven thinks of Hobbs. So much for big name signings am i the only Leicester fan starting to worry about the "quality" of players were are looking at
'am i the only Leicester fan starting to worry about the "quality" of players were are looking at'
The quality of players we WERE looking at was fine, it's that we've decided we don't want/can't afford to pay for them, and are settling for worse ones.
As I've said before, if Top is willing to pay so much for a certain player then who am I to argue if it's too much? That's only relevant though if they have enough left to pay for other (better) targets.
CMS had only been playing in the League for one season prior to you seeing him, and he is rated by bigger clubs than yourselves (with respect), Expected to turn down a Premiership club today.
'CMS had only been playing in the League for one season prior to you seeing him'
And before that he had a less than astounding record at Dagenham and Redbridge.
He might be wanted by Prem Clubs but never as first choice. As I said he's not proved anything above League 1 level.
See....

... and he's better than Maynard (who's he - never heard of him?)!
Fryatt scored loads at league one level but was never prolific for us a championship level.
Are leicester fans joking? Hes better than anything youve got. Id drive him to upton park myself, and i cant drive. Ok maybe thats not a good idea then

Foxes fans feel a slight rivalry towards anything Posh, (due to us usually beating them) and they would sooner not have us in the same division to lessen the risk of embarrassment.so it's quite natural for them to begrudge the fact that we have a player who is in such high demand,
He's no better than Waghorn or Fryatt for that matter. spose he might be a good partner for Heskey my cousin has just txt me to say the deal has been completed for 500k
Don't understand the huge negatives concerning CMS...he always seems to score goals whenever i've watched him...
I think it would be a brilliant signing, especially if we get Maynard as well.
It's the fact that he's a Posh player, they don't want to belittle themselves by signing one of ours, even though we are at the Posh end of the A47.
Sell him to us please then posh! In return we will give you scott parker... He has to go somewhere
Its nothing to do with you being at the end of the A47 i don't even see you as rivals with all due respect i just don't simply rate him i have seen him play live four times against us and seen him on the telly he doesn't overly impress me.
He goes with our blessing, West Ham would suit him I feel, (because you try to play the right way)
