TOOR, we were tactically woeful against Stoke a couple of weeks ago, but out of interest, how would you have liked to see us line up against Bolton?

I've been asking that for years about England in the Gerrard/Lampard debate

It doesn't matter where Henderson played earlier in his career, it's evident he's not good on the right and has been good, whilst not yet outstanding(I believe that will come) in the centre.

Stevie is not cover for Adam, as evidenced by Bolton's players not being tracked back by our midfield for their first tow goals.

Maxi can't give service for Carroll. Playing on the left, Maxi cuts in and wants to play quick little passes and one-twos, which makes Carroll do things that he is terrible at. Cue my friend laughing his head off at Carroll.

Bellamy was up with him and Carroll did one of the things he's good at, flicked the ball on for a fast attacker to run on to.
