It has been revealed by a source that 'Arry Redknapp plans to sell Bale and Modric to help generate funds for him to wheel and deal with HM Revenue and Customs.

The deal is thought to be in the region of £80m

Both are different players, with Scholes more of a technically gifted, deep lying playmake. Gerrard is more direct and a box to box midfielder.

Both are very good players. Gerrard will get more press, because Liverpool depend on him more.

He did far more than that.

For starters he sits 10th on United's all time goal scorers.

He probably attacked more than he sat; Keano was easily the better DM

For me though, both were pretty much box to box midfielders like alot where in that era
