this game is not going anywhere, this partnership alone will end all england's hopes.

Problem for England is that only Broad has looked like getting a wicket. Tremlett has been ok too but Swann and Anderson no so effective yet.

Winning,

what do you mean this game isnt going anywhere? From who's perspective exactly - pakistan will more than happy with this, and i think we should tick tock along for the rest of the day and frustrate england to hell.... they arent used to this............ Only problem is, we lose younis now, and we've only got misbah, then england can rattle us from shafiq downwards.

afridi, that was to the OP, i meant the game is well in our hands and it cannot go anywhere england's way. You are right at misbah is the only reliable player after this pair, shafiq you cannot predict. But these two will make sure we dont depend on the other batsmen at all.

So much for Swann being ineffective but if the ball hits him outside the stumps then why is he out?

It was bowled full and that probably did him.

Good innings from Hafeez nevertheless. Down to the old guard now.

neon, given the nature of the dismissals of most of the England line up yesterday, would you say that Amjal was mostly lucky to get his wickets as well?
