Subtle to the point of being bland. Having said that I would rather have a white away shirt than some of the shockers we have had over the last twenty years.
I wasnt convinced until i saw the actual pictures. Shirt looks very tidy. I didnt get my black away shirt until almost xmas last year ffs so just hope they are in the shops soon. When are the home shirts to be released anyow ?
Let me get ths right. If you buy the Villa shirt from JJB etc, there will be no sponsors logo. But you can take it to the club shop and have the privilege of the sponsors name put on?
Why? Why would any fan go out of their way to have the sponsors logo on their shirt? Villa fans seem to be in the lucky situation of having no sponsors logo!
guess our league finish didn't have the required effect of having sponsors baying at our doors.
As in the words of a famous milk advert from the 80's..Genting 'how are they?!"
If you look closely at the Villa badge on the shirt, it's made of plastic, the same stuff as the logo... that is disgusting!! After a few washes, the advert cracks and peels off (bad enough), but now the Villa badge will eventually disappear also!!
The club should have a sewn cloth badge, and advertising should be optional. I would rather pay extra to have NO advertising on the shirt. I hope the Home shirt is better and has a cloth badge, or that will be last shirt I buy (and I've been buying them since 1975!).
West Ham had a cheap-looking plastic badge several seasons ago. I thought it wouldn't last and would wash off, but it didn't.
It's tougher than it looks.
