Wow.
Sounds like another piece of good business by LFC - like, Carroll, Downing, Adam, etc.
Still, it'll go some way to paying off the remainder of Woy's £6 million contract, the architect's fees for a fantasy stadium, and the £43 million the local council claim the club still owes them.
if the deal were coming from the owner's brother-in-law, i'm sure it would be investigated
They probably weren't good value for Adidas who don't really need to grow in football but they're a massive coup for a brand looking to make a name for themselves
No offence intended (i happen to dislike Liverpool far more than i could ever dislike City) but they are a much bigger club than you, a bit of money does not a big club make i'm afraid... also their deal came from a company that isn't connected with their club or its owners unlike yours which frankly stunk to high heaven
If you are unable to see the differences i'm worried for you
@ Beeb
The contract's worth pretty much the same as one of your monthly interest repayments isn't it?

Great point

He's talking about the ground deal??

i'm talking about the deal that is being investigated - as the op is talking about deals being reported/investigated. do keep up dear boy
He's talking about the ground deal??
The thread appears to be about Addidas and shirt sponsorship.

read the whole article before you comment in future..
then you need to have a word with paul and he seems to be confused as its your ground deal that is being investigated Boris, we know your a classic bitter blue and will argue the colour of the sky if City are involved in some way but if United had done what city have with their stadium deal you'd be one of the first to be slating United and you know it
I don't have a great deal to be bitter about these days.
I've re-read the article, plus the links and it's not me that's confused girls. I think our deal with Umbro is £8m - A third of what Liverpool are getting of the world famous, Boston-based Warrior Sports.
"Beeb, The contract's worth pretty much the same as one of your monthly interest repayments isn't it?"
RCD Mallorca's entire debt is €11 million euros, pal. Try again.
Boris....
did you read this line....
'Just like Liverpool's managing director Ian Ayre and Liverpool's owner John W. Henry who both called for City's ground sponsorship deal to be investigated by UEFA. '
do you want me to draw you a picture??
make sure there is lots of Blue in the picture Scouse-Heart andno Red for some reason the colour Red sends him into a rage while the colour Blue calms him down,
Not Arrogant Just Bitter MUFC
Pipe down, you're one of the more prolific obsessives on City's board.
------------------
The OP makes a valid point. Liverpool accused City of cronyism over our stadium deal but are quite happy to let one of John Henry's mates supply an over-inflated shirt deal.
So the article wasn't about Adidas and shirt sponsorship? Who knew
whoahhhh
hang on Boris have you FINALLY read the whole aritcle after spouting rubbish for a while about it...!!!
Right back to victorgooners original point on the stadium issue 50 mins ago!!!(do try and keep up...)
'if the deal were coming from the owner's brother-in-law, i'm sure it would be investigated'
Another picture needed or can you work this one out for yourself???
Can you give a link to a page where it states that Etihad are owned exclusively by Shiekh Mansours brother-in-law.
