New blofeld in the new bond film Spectre...bring it on...just watched casino royale... still utterly brilliant
Casino Royale was decent but the two follow up have been a snoozefest.
Quantum of porridge was just awful. Skyfall was decent.

I actually like quantum...I know it got like warm reviews...I like that it follows on from CR
Skyfall is great until the scottish scenes...then it drops off a cliff
Quantum was very forgettable. The only thing I remember about it was that the villain wasn't menacing at all.

Are Woody Allen films any good?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I like What's Up, Tiger Lily?
And Annie Hall
Generally he's gotten worse over time
the best ones are 70s and 80s

Critics seem to rave about them (especially in the comedy genre) when I look for films to watch

It's all a bit jewish angst for me
He's not really my taste either Sheriff
What's Up, Tiger Lily? is an overdubbed Japanese film with an absurd plot. So there's no acting involved. It's just a spoof really.
Probably why it's the one I like most. The others are a bit pretentious.

Take the Money and Run was ok, the scene where he is trying to escape prison with a bar of soap is pretty funny.
Not quite sure on his more recent stuff but wood agree on the Jewish film thing, it is a bit contrived and try hard.

Mrs wanted to see "Into The Woods" last night, so we went,
I would have rather taken a round of russian roulette than sit through it again, worst thing I've seen in a long long time, I'd have rather watched Tammy
-1000/10
Anyone seen ‘Gone Girl’? A mate of mine said it was really good, they had it on a flight I was on yesterday but had to resist as I’m currently reading it.
Haven't seen gg but the praise seems unanimous
