Dave Pundit's Predictions

In my youth, I used to prefer those fantasy-style Top Trumps over the sport. Which explains why I support Liverpool, I suppose.

The best series was the 'Horror' one.

Who was 'Zoltan'? He also had a 'High Priest' for god's sake!

And who would you like to see suffer at the hands of the jailer in the 'Venusian Death Cell'??? Neil Warnock or Joey Barton.

'Granite Man'?- Just call Brian Kilcline (ask your Grandad's kids...)

'The Incredible Melting Man'? = Arsene Wenger.

My god - I've just realised I sound like Gareth Keenan.

I don't know the scores for each category - honest

Interesting post today 'Dave' - still stuck in 'Manning Mode' re: Norwich. Or is this post-post-modern satire????

Another great read Dave

12 toes had me lolling not to mention the Mancini card waving

I had a maths teacher called Mr Manning, is that who you mean? To be honest though I don't think you need to be a maths teacher to count to twelve.

No, I'm obviously talking about Katy Manning, the actress who played Dr Who's assistant in the 70's. That's where Dave's 'Norwich' comments are stuck.

I played Arsenal Top Trumps 2010 after Christmas. Football stats don't really suit Top Trumps that well......my player was born in 1990, my player has zero appearances.

I also nearly had a fit after getting the Nasri card.

"That's where Dave's 'Norwich' comments are stuck."

It is weird considering the rest of his views are so modern and progressive.

Exactly

Glad you 'get it' now.

"..it's a conspiracy I tell you. What possible other reason could there be for Liverpool's lack of trophies recently?"

Bolton v Liverpool
Gone are the glory days for Bolton. It's all been downhill since Gary Megson left.

Alan Pardew is a British manager with pedigree he's managed sleeping giants Southampton, Charlton and West Ham whereas Martin Jol has never managed a big club.

I thought that might entice a nibble from a few

No mention of the Manchester United 'stopper's' eye-sight problems? Perhaps linked to Wenger's propensity for myopicity????

I'm sure Roy 'Lemmy' Hodgson will be prepared for some more head-bangin' in the Potteries.....the cradle of British 'Heavy Metal'* football.

*medieval reference....

You should write your own article. I'm sure it'd go down a storm.

I disagree that Tottenham will beat Man City but it might be a draw.

"There's no doubt Cahill is a raw talent, he has pace, mobility and technical prowess and hopefully under the tutelage of the Englishman's Englishman he'll be able to lose all those and rely on grit and reputation alone."

It's these sort of replies that confuse me most.
